Like Errol never missed weight from what I remember or even had a difficult cut

 

The same day weight in hasnt been the law of the land in boxing for like 2 generations, yet weight bully is treated as the mark of Cain for some reason. If you make the weight who cares?

some terms are legit and some lack legitimacy

 

Legitimacy is a different argument to whether or not terms are made up. Every term has been made up whether for a legitimate purpose or not. I would agree that it's used for BS, but it is still something made-up of the human mind.
