Haye is nothing. The same people said that Thompson would knock Vlad out, well, Thompson it the one who got knocked out. Vlad's chin is not bad, that is bull****. Same ones said that Austin would knock Vlad out, well, Austin got knocked out. Vlad was drugged for the first Brewster fight and proven in the rematch that Brewster was not in the same class as Vlad, easy win for Vlad, yes, TKO. Every time Vlad fights, no matter who it is, the same ones pick his opponent to knock him out. Teddy Atlas has proven himself to be psychic in reverse! Atlas said that Kirk Johnson would knock Vitali out, but Vitali knocked Johnson out in the second round. Johnson had knocked Maskaev out before he fought Vitali. It goes on and on.

 

Never gonna happen haye would have to get past that big old paw of his and that aint gonna happen.

Hayes ok for boiling down and bullying cruisers, hes not doing nothing in HW but beat bums and shot fighters.

It's true, some around here don't give Wlad much credit, or the HW. Wlad and Steward are becoming so good together, I'm starting to think it might be too late now for the opposition to beat them. Povetkin will be a good test for Wlad. Wlad should get credit for that win.

I think people don't realize how good Tony "the tiger" Thompson is. I think Wlad is the only guy on this planet that could KO Thompson. I didn't realize how big Thompson was. Thompson thought Wlad could only beat him from the outside, so Thompson tried getting in Wlad's grill, but Wlad beat him to there first everytime, by sticking that big right hand to Thompson's chin over and over, until inevitable KO happened. What a game plan Wlad/Steward had.

If David Haye comes in the sort of shape he did v Macca then he can win. He needs to do what he did then. Use his feet and head movement while keeping a tight guard in shoulder roll. Once he gets Wlad over shooting with that jab or leaning out of position, that is when he needs to strike with killer blows. Then we will see how Wlad holds up to big shots from him. If Wlad does hold up then Haye will need to calm down and start thinking about piling up points for the long run where he may stop him from accumulation or win on the cards. If Wlad doesn't go inside 4 then Haye needs to not force the issue.

 

still. he's a poor man's sam peter. slow and methodical. he also has zero power. 9kos in 21 fights i believe going into the haye fight. once the italian proved he could take a shot, haye was backing up the whole night.

however, peter is far bigger, stronger, and more powerful.

Frag. bullied haye around the ring. when i saw him land that 4 punch combination that busted haye open, it made me think Haye the hw is gonna have some issues.

this fight more than the thompson or mock fight makes me skeptical about haye's chances in the hw divison.

 

haye's stamina may prove to be a bigger ? than his chin. adding that kind of weight will make going 12 rounds quite a challenge. i want to see him go 10 or 12 hard rounds and prove me wrong.

 

Haye needs to beat a big name at HW. Once that happens, then he can think of Wlad.
