I usually ignore everything Fury says but I'm looking forward to his comments on AJ'S non performance. I wish he was in Jeddah tonight.

You don't need serious KO power to crack glass

AJ is going to be so overtrained for the Fury bout that Fury will blow on him and he will fall over. Drained and mentally poor. Fury by KO1.

The whole kafkaesque issue of Zuffa being involved by brute force and the fight being changed to being in the US, or in the UK at US time, contrary to the initial contract absolutely reeks of Fury trying to make the fight as unattractive to AJ as possible so he pulls out - and spares Fury the embarrassment of getting flatlined.

Fury has never wanted the fight.

This was bizarrely touching. AJ is a profoundly odd individual, who's awkward as hell with very little self awareness. But the man has had a really shitty last few years, so you can't help be feel for him a little. He's still got a ton of issues he's working through, but all credit to him, he showed some real tenacity tonight and he's clearly proud of himself for not folding. Thank Usyk and his crew for instilling that in him.

Not a bad showing for a supposed quitter. Went out on his shield against Dubois and seemingly was going to do the same here.

As weird as it is, this is absolutely right. AJ got smashed by Dubois and didn't fight for a long time. Then he almost died and his two best friends got decapitated right in front of him. That dude, for as cringe and far past his best he is, showed a lot of heart.

This was probably great for him. Look at him in there. He's back to being happy and excited and pushing for the Fury fight. Whether it's deserved or not, he has his confidence back.

Is AJ going to beat any legit guys in the division and pick up another belt? Hell no. Can he give old, shot Fury all he can handle and knock him out? Absolutely.
