The lesson we've learned tonight: Team Usyk is the worst boxing training team ever, lol. They made AJ go backwards in boxing.

His jab is horrific. He leaves the left hand out takes an age to bring it back to his guard and leaves his head dead centre. It’s fundamentally so poor and any decent HW trying to win takes his head off as a result. Sure it may still have some power but it’s one of the worst jabs you’ll see at this level in boxing.

Fashionably late to the Sheeraz slander here, but he fights like a guy who knows that he needs to do the bare minimum to walk into an undeserved, monstrous payday. My guess is the Canelo fight has already been signed down the line, a completely undeserved eight-figure payday at some stage in 2027. I expect Mbili to get robbed on the cards and for the sea to part, but even then I don't know if Sheeraz can beat a completely shot-to-pieces version of Canelo.

Sheeraz should have lost comfortably to Adames, and he's just looked woeful against a guy who barely scrapes into the top 30 of a very weak division. Iglesias, Bank, Sadjo, Martinez all beat Sheeraz, so do the likes of Plantic and Nurmaganbet. I don't expect him to fight a serious, live contender anytime soon.

But which will it be? That's precisely why this fight, YEARS after its sell date, is still interesting, and in my view, worth watching

    I just watched some HLs.

The first KD was Lewis-esque in so far as Pregna holding the back of AJ’s head whilst uppercutting at the same time.

After AJ got back up Pregna landed another just like the KD punch shortly thereafter.

For the second KD Pregna certainly hurt AJ with the left but ultimately landed a punch to the back of the head just prior to AJ going down.

Pregna appeared clearly pre-med’d to fight rough and the ref didn’t appear too concerned about that.

Fury knows how to fight rough himself and would likely take a leaf from this fight.

It seemed that AJ’s legs were also betraying him just in their own right combined with his chin.

Sure, AJ was hurt/buzzed but he appeared to still hold a fair measure of cognisance all the same.

It did appear that Pregna dropped tools somewhat in the 2nd round - at the very least, he wasn’t doing as well as when he was holding/hitting and roughing AJ up.

I think AJ is quite possibly still a live dog against and relative to the likes of Fury.
