    He didnt defeat many greats. Don Lalonde wasnt great and only counted as one champion who on top of that, was weight drained at 168

    and Hagler was through by then

    unless you count Benitez and kalule as "many greats"

    Duran twice, Benitez, Hearns and Hagler.

    Not many beat 4 all time greats in one career.

    Hagler still had a decent amount left, he didn’t look obviously washed going into the fight based on his recent form.

    Leonard. Monzon never , ever fought the level of competition at middleweight P4P that Leonard did any welter ..
