He never had the greatest chin and he doesn't have the necessary powers of recovery to mitigate that deficiency like a Fury or Marquez but they are both extremely intelligent fighters too which helps. He does always try and get up and he has shown against Klitschko and Prenga he can overcome adversity so he does have it in his locker. You can say Klitschko was pretty old and fought the wrong fight down the back half and Prenga is just a fringe world level guy who punches really hard and didn't belong in the ring anyway. Ruiz and Dubois took a few rounds to get the job done so it's not like he ever gives up and rolls over.

He shouldn't be facing adversity against what was essentially a warm up fight.

 

Prenga shouldn’t be troubling him whatsoever in theory but it was clear if little else noteworthy about the guy, he can obviously punch very hard. AJ got up off the canvas and took him out in the next round so deserves credit for cleaning up his own mess but it’s not impressive to be dropped twice off an average fighter. He has come back from a near death experience very soon so we have to take into account his mind would have been elsewhere but we also know he has form for unexpected surprises regardless.

 

We don't know if he can punch very hard because he hasn't exactly knocked out anyone notable. Could just be that AJs chin really is that stuffed, or Prenga really does hit like a train, who knows? In any case, he shouldn't have gotten caught by those shots to begin with.

He shouldn't be getting credit for getting a 7-10 round against a guy nobody has heard of, even if he did pull off a KO the next round (because that's what he was expected to do without going life and death).

As for the near death experience, if it is affecting him that much he shouldn't be fighting. I'm not going to accept it as an excuse if he decides to continue fighting.

Haters spent his entire career talking about the younger Klitschko, saying he was made of glass and only needed to land one good punch. And he ruled and ruled. For someone with a "glass jaw," Joshua has defeated an extraordinary number of top-tier punchers since the beginning of his career. Whyte, Povetkin(!), Klitschko(!!). He also defeated many very hard or simply hard-hitting guys with slightly less skill, like Takam, Ngannou, Breazeale, Hellenius, and Ruiz. So either he's such a brilliant boxer that his glass jaw doesn't bother him, or you're simply exaggerating, as boxing fans tend to do.
Fury was also considered someone with a glass jaw until he finally fought Wilder, where his character and resilience saved him.

AJ has officially been dropped 6 times in his last two real fights vs Dubois and Prenga, its actually 10 times if you count the knockdowns not given.

Everyone can see that AJ's punch resistance is now extremely poor, and is not even sufficient to hold up against an Albanian uber driver.

 

Just goes to show all that bodybuilding and lifting dumbells, has done diddly squat to protect Joshua’s chin. Lol put him back in there with Dubios, and have him carted off.

 

Prenga's record is manufactured, there is no evidence that he is a big puncher. Ruiz wasn't either, and he did a number on a far better version of AJ.
