I like Spence. He's carried himself well in the ring and out of it. Tbh I was sad hearing that music as he was walking out. I knew it was going to be his last time. He fought well and was up 3-2 after 5 but tszyu won the next and took control from there. He won at least 4 of the last 6 rounds. Both guys are shot though. Tbh Tszyu looked awful half way through. No right hooks, stuff all body shots. No uppercuts. I said this pre fight I think he'll beat Spence he could possibly beat an old Lara but the first decent guy he fights he'll lose. He's done at the top and was done after Fundora 2 happened if he wasn't done after Murtzaliev. Crawford looked pissed post fight he lost his 5k USD bet to Tassie which was supposed to be 10k AUD when they first mentioned it. Glad for Tszyu, glad for my bank account. But he's a Spence force.

 

Tszyu is awful. He was fighting walking in with his hands low. He still hasn't learnt.

 

If his team was smart they would get him another fight in Australia while his name is in the news.
Then match him up with what would be his last fight but make sure Tim gets compensated well for his going out bout.

That was a great fight and the first I saw in person, the second I walked through the door Aukoso knocked Tejeda the **** out and the whole place started yelling! I thought Spence would win but I'm happier that Tszyu won. Kudos to Spence though he's had one of the greatest welterweight runs.

 

Glad my boy Paulie is back to should've never been blackballed in the first place for all those years

 

You can thank Tim for that. Tim personally requested that Paulie be at these events in Australia

 

Tim will soon have a middleweight belt around his waist.

 

Spence was not liking them body shots, also he was there for the taking, Tim can beat old man Lara as well and claim another world title.

but Spence was shot and tim not getting the knockout was disappointing.

 

Very happy to see Tim get the win. Had to work hard for it but I thought he performed to the best of his ability as of right now. He's fought three times since December last year so has had a heavy schedule since his last defeat. It would be a brave man who says he can't win another world title given how wide open Middleweight is so he has the capacity to climb higher. Decent performance from Errol coming off a three-year layoff & a better one outside the ring where he had to carry the promotional load with his countrymen (a) not making it into the country & (b) not making weight & featuring on the show. The undercard fighters did their bit. There were 5 Olympians featuring in 5 of the 6 fights with an IBA World Championships rep in the other one. Good wins by Paulo Aokuso & Callum Peters in particular. Aokuso looked gone at the end of 7 so really good effort by him to steady the ship & get a stoppage in the 10th. Tszyu's still undefeated all-time in Australia. Errol the first Big Doodle to ever set foot in the same boxing ring as a Tszyu & he travelled half-way around the world to do it.
