Well another fight not worth checking out, I'll spare myself the embarrassment.

As to Fury v AJ, I hope it happens, 10 years to late, but I hope it happens and I hope AJ can stop Fury, just so they can both fade into the twilight with the criticism that deserves them.

Subpar 3rd Rate fighters in a Subpar false division - separate the Giants 6'5" plus, 225lbs plus, bring back the normal sized HW Division, get rid of these S-HW's to themselves and possibly save a very dead sport.

 

Should make people respect someone like Lennox more really.

He boxed everyone from his era who actually wanted it, came back from adversity, then ended his career beating the heir apparent.

Fury and AJ are making a mockery of the sport at this point, just waiting on Turki to underwrite the final cash-out.

 

Anyone that pays to see AJ vs Fury needs their head examining. Both are completely shot. The last couple of days has killed any interested in it actually being a contest between decent heavyweights.

 

It's the lack of dignity and pride in it all now. Fury, Joshua, Warren and Hearn all desperately lingering on hoping to be thrown another few hundred million quid of that Saudi blood money. The fighters know they're shot to smithereens, and Hearn and Warren are now just glorified football agents demanding to be let at the trough.

AJ, should have been more, but he is just a normal lad in a Fighters Physique. Fury was always 3rd Rate, protected and OWNED by the Money men into Place & Position.

It's a spectacle, not a boxing promotion. Remember the initial build-up to Eubank Jr-Benn in 2022 with red carpets, z-listers getting selfies with the boxers, etc - it'll be all that x10. Every mainstream commenter will suddenly be into boxing and you can expect the lads on Good Morning Britain 'separated by guards' and then probably going back downstairs in the lift together.

Any Joshua v Fury fight should now really be the opening fight on the John Fury v Carl Froch undercard.

This fight is clearly an old man version of Bosh v Dave Allen with the winner simply the fighter with anything left in the tank.

Would have more respect for both if they done what they were happy to do themselves on the way up fighting old experienced fighters - fight the upcoming fighters such as Moses to give him valuable experience on the way up.

 

I just want to get this Fury AJ fight out the way and let them go off in to the sunset. This fight is well past it's sell by date, in fact if you left it outside a restaurant most homeless people would take a look at it, put it back down and walk away. Let's just get this bizarre matchup out the way, It's time for the next generation to take over the spotlight.
