    The longest count I remember was Fury putting Wilder down in round 3 of the trilogy. It could have been waved off there and then.

    None of what you describe is ever happening. Rico had the advantage of being easy to underestimate and an unknown quantity, but Usyk has been studying Wilder for many years, and watching him since 2008. Usyk has always regarded Wilder as easier for him than Joshua and Fury, and that was prime Wilder. He will be fully focused and motivated for 41 Wilder, who will get dismantled.

    The Dosser has had 85 fights amateur and pro and the vast majority of his pro ones were early blowouts vs bums and he fought very few elite amateurs in his 35 amateur fights

    The best fighters in the pros he fought are

    World champions

    Belly
    J-Park
    Stiverne - shot in the rematch
    Liakhovich - shot to bits

    Non-world champs

    Big Bang
    Chisora
    Ortiz who was 38 in their first fight

    He's 3-3-1 vs world champions but should be 3-4

    Vs prime world champions he's 1-3 but it should be 1-4

    So the step up in competition conveniently coincided with his decline and let's not forget Malik Scott idiotically tried to transform him into a skilled boxer and he's still doing his best peasant's impersonation of a skilled boxer now. Scott is a likeable guy but he's a crappy trainer and waffles nothing but hot air

    And Deontay's a likeable guy too IMHO. I think it's just a bit depressing to be speculating that he can beat Usyk at this or any stage, or that he deserves a quadrilogy (!) with Fury.

    After yesterday's oddball performances, I'm looking forward that much more to the (relatively) younger fighters -- starting with Kabayel and Itauma.

    Deontay Wilder cucked his younger brother on two separate occasions by sleeping with his girlfriends. Wilder's ex fiance also filed a restraining order on him on account of alleged domestic abuse.

    Not a particularly likable guy imo.

    Quite amazing his durability has held up so well as he has always gone 10-12 since stepping up to world level. I think we finally saw some chinks vs Wardley where he was just worn down by the end of that fight. It might be a fast decline from here.

    HW's mature later. Wach and Fury, obviously, are pretty much in the prime of their lives right now. The snap in their punches, the reaction time, the speed, the physique, they have it all.

    I'm going to go AJ because of the age. Yeah AJ looked terrible against Prenga but Prenga wasn't an MMA star or kickboxer. Prenga is a serious HW. 20-1 with a 100% KO rate. AJ still did win. In 2 rounds. He got stunned got serious and won. AJ's chin being meh is not exactly breaking news here.

    I have been of the opinion the "four ducks" have scammed the fans by aging out a generation of contenders. Prenga would be included in that. Better than Makhmudov most likely.

    The only one of those guys who was/is the least bit great is Usyk. The others were nothing but cherry pickers who got exposed.

    Cherry pickers? Tyson Fury fought Deontay Wilder and Usyk, Anthony Joshua fought Usyk, Dubois, and now Fury. Wilder faced Fury, Parker, Zhang, and now Usyk, who exactly have these guys ducked?
