Hell no! Boots has the better jab, inside fighting, timing, defense, and hus ability to switch is very Haglerish. If both were naturally in the same weight class Ennis would be more inclined to fight Davis than Keyshawn would
Yes, I'd say so, even based on amateur credentials alone. I'm not sure who Boots has beaten as a pro that is that impressive, either. Ennis has some serious flaws, especially in his defense, and is yet to beat an actual top-tier name despite the fact he's 29. Maybe if he beats Ortiz/Fundora impressively, but the jury is still very much out on him for me if we are comparing his skill level to a fellow world champion who was an elite amateur. Davis has silvers from the worlds and the Olympics, and his stoppage win over Berinchyk is miles ahead of any Boots win in the pros. The Lemos one would be on par with any of Boots' wins too if Davis hadn't come in ridiculous over the limit. When all is said and done, this answer could change, but I don't see a strong argument for Ennis at the moment.
It’s actually crazy how much bigger Davis is than Ortiz. Literally the worst weight bully in the sport. He’s only had two fights at 140 and he’s already having to move up to 147. If he was fighting guys his own size his skillet would look completely different. You box different when you know the other guy can’t hurt you, whereas your opponent has to adapt his style just to deal with the size disadvantage. To answer the question: no.

Nah, Boots can throw combos from different angles, and also has better defense than Keshawn. Keshawn is very good but when comparing both their boxing skills Boots looks to be the more talented and skilled fighter.
