Where would a victory over 2026/2027 AJ rank on Fury's win record?

I wouldn't be surprised if AJ feels he needs another tune-up. Especially now Fury's had two.

 

Oh, I know. I don't think it would happen, not a chance. But AJ will probably be wishing he could have one. Considering he didn't even go 2 full rounds, compared to Fury's full 19 this year; and I'm sure, had Prenga not ripped up the script, AJ probably would have took his time and tried to get as many rounds in as possible. But he was forced to beat Prenga at his own game. Whether Prenga is a bum or not, and I'd never heard of him previously, I did think it was a bit of a risk to go in with someone who has knocked out every guy he has beat. That shows he has good power, at the least. Joshua needed someone a bit feather-fisted, like a Wallin or Hughie Fury type, who he could take his time against, get some rounds in, and not have to worry too much about what was coming back at him. Come to think of it, Hughie Fury would've been perfect. Would've been a great opportunity for AJ to be on the mic afterwards, being all like 'I beat your cousin, now I'm coming for you.'

 

Then Fury has a third, and AJ a third, then Fury a fourth...

This is the fight marination that never ends... and it goes on and on my friends...

 

Yep. Tune-ups are overrated. Just get in the ring and ****ing fight.

Did Verhoeven and Ngannou feel, ooh, I should probably test the waters at boxing against a lesser opponent first before I face the heavyweight champion in boxing? Did Pacquiao try to take a tune-up before coming back for his title fight against Barrios? Yes, training can never replicate fighting, but that's what you train hard for. You've done it your whole life. It shows a lack of belief.
