Lara is 43 and has reigned in the worst era of MW in history. Tim Tszyu is in his prime coming from the best division in boxing. Tim would win.

I do not think Lara is one of them fighters whose great when they are old I think the MW division is so bad that Lara can get by on class alone.

So, you'll be happy after the fight, mate. All good.:) A 42 year old Lara is not beating Tim.

Tim fought safe, he's in Australia, he wouldn't expect to get robbed on the cards. I know where you're coming from especially seeing as the Nurja fight before was a similar story but I'm confident against Lara he'd step on the gas if he had too.

    Isn't Lara like 43-44?

I can't in good faith select a 44 year old here...................I just can't. (Lara is better than Tszyu, but this ain't about that)

Lara has barely lost a round in recent fights

People acting like Timmy will steamroll him are nuts

Again...................I do not think Tim is better, and Tim can be forced to surrender. I don't think a 44 year old is gonna do it. 2-3 years ago Lara would've been the easy pick for me. But 3 fights in 2 1/2 years, 4 fights in 4 years...................I don't see it.

Following Tim Tszyu’s victory over Errol Spence Jr.,Amari Jones‘s manager, Rick Mirigian has called for Golden Boy promotions president Eric Gomez to make a fight between Tim Tszyu and Amari Jones.
AJ is no 1 for vacant IBF title and has some history with Tszyu as they have previously sparred .

Lara has stated the light schedule has helped him stay able bodied into his 40’s

Could be some truth to that

Lara beats Timmy unless Father Time has caught up overnight

He has dined on the Texas BBQ ribs and now it's time to move on to the Flan de Queso for dessert.

There are two contrasting viewpoints here, one that Lara will land one of his dynamite straight lefts early on and stop Tszyu, and another that Tszyu will wear down Lara for a decision win or late stoppage. Personally I think both are valid perspectives, but I would lean toward the former; against Murtazaliev, Tszyu was unable to make the adjustments to avoid walking into his left hook repeatedly, and similarly I doubt he will be able to avoid Lara's straight left either.
