It isn't Usyk's fault that he isn't fighting in the early 90's.

    #1 Ali
    #2 Louis
    #3 Lewis
    #4 Foreman
    #5 Holmes
    #6 Holyfield
    #7 Fraizer
    #8 Marciano
    #9 Wlad
    #10 Tyson
    #11 Usyk

Fell just short of top10 in my rankings. Add Jack Johnson and Jack Dempsey for #12 and #13, these guys would be interchangable from number 7 to 13. So I'd say he's borderline top10.

That being said, I don't really like counting the CW wins when discussing HW legacy. Sure, modern day cruisers would be heavyweights back in the day, but current SMWs would be LHWs, jr. MWs would be MWs and so on. So unless we're exclusively making our rankings for the original 8 weight classes, each division stands on its own.

You also have pre day weigh ins now which allow fighters to hydrate upwards of 20lbs overnight so you have LWs & WWs who are almost MW/SMWs on the night.. so I disagree that each division stands alone. Weight grifting is rife now.

Usyk is the best of this era that will never be an argument, however only fighting 5 Heavyweight fighters and 1 cross over kick boxer his WHOLE Heavyweight career that’s another thing entirely in regards to his standings in ATG lists and mythical H2H match ups ! For example Joe Louis had 25 Title defences over 12 years the most dominant Champion in any weight Division in History,Usyk only had 25 fights his whole 13 year career .

He had a lineal claim to all the belts. Just because some fighters weren't titlists when he beat them, doesn't mean he didn't clean out the division. Beating Stiverne, who wouldn't even be in his Top 5 wins, wouldn't add anything to him "cleaning out the division", despite a belt being attached to it.

It's not when It's the same rule for all the fighters. Yes, most WWs today are MWs/SMWs on fight night, and most MWs/SMWs are LHWs/CWs. This would be relevant in a specific H2H match-up discussion, I don't see the relevancy in a debate over the rankings about all-time greatness.

Usyk is arguably the GOAT. Top 10 HW discussion. At his peak who would you pick to beat him? Before people bring up Rico like some mouth breathing gronks like @MidniteProwler would say, Ali lost against a novice with less than 10 fights out of his prime.

So, when the older Deontay Wilder beats Usyk next, in Wilder's 14th heavyweight title fight, Deontay will have beaten one of the 10 best heavyweights of all time?

Or, as some just said, Wilder will have beaten the GOAT at heavyweight.

Good to know. I'm going to hold you all to that. ;)

When you say goat do you mean cruiserweight, heavyweight or p4p? I think the greatest cruiserweight is defendable, I think the other two claims are laughable unless you have bizzare criteria.
