I think Joshua would be in for another massacre against Dubois, the way that match went doesn't suggest a second act is necessary. AJ is a very fragile boxer who has trouble handling his opponent's shots and pressure, he went down 6 time in his last three fights (where only against Jake Paul did he not get knockdown....) speak volumes. The best thing for him would be to retire, but we know he has a very lucrative match against Fury. I hope that after this fight (which I don't know how AJ could win) Joshua retires. I hope so for his health.

A warrior would do that to avenge the loss.
Meanwhile a drug-dealing scumbag bully fighter marketed into a hero would prefer to take on a less dangerous puncher.
We're listening to the excuses from his fans now and people trying to ward him from danger. Why? He's a massive SHW with a heart of a lion, right? What's the problem? Wlad took him on at 41.
On the other hand, everyone would destroy Fury if he got wrecked by Dubious and ran from the rematch. Imagine that fallout. He would be the most cowardly fake-champion cherry-picker of all time.
If you want to know how bad that duck is, he can still beat Dubious, he's bigger and a bigger puncher. Dubious got KO'd by Usyk twice for god's sake.

Dubois flattens Joshua even earlier than in the first fight...

Fury is the money fight and the legacy fight.

Whoever wins will rightfully go down 2nd behind Usyk this era and the other man will be 3rd.

Dubois should chase the Wilder fight. Easy victory and a name to boost his reputation, even though we all know Wilder has always been trash, they can still pretend he's a monstrous puncher, despite a lack of evidence suggesting so.

The only people who claim Wilder is trash are a few fringe nutters who don't even believe it themselves.

If Joshua loses to Fury badly or loses twice, it's very questionable whether he will be viewed as top 3 in the era retrospectively.

At this point, AJ gets crushed by Dubois. They are holding out for Fury v AJ but it is 5 years past when it was a good fight.

That's assuming Wilder doesn't blast him out with his own right hand. Remember Dubios got stopped by a jab...

Unlikely of course, but I'd love to see it.
