I think you read my post wrong, McVey, I said outsided the TOP S-HWs such as the Klit's, LL's, Bowe's of the division, most great past HW's could beat the Subpar rest of the S-HW's

I am a bit confused, have you and I both not agreed that 'outside' of the Elite (few as they are), in the S-HW Division, they cannot be beat by yesteryears HW's, but the remainder of the subpar rest could be beat by TOP HW's of the past.

    I partially agree.

As any other sport Boxing has evolved and so did athletes, including increases on size and power.

A century ago somebody like Wlad would have been in a circus tent, not in a boxing ring.

However, it is not an exact rule. I think the current "bigger is better" trend has translated into diminishing boxing skills in many cases.

And lets be real: PEDs and other chemical emhacement stuff give a huge unfair advantage to current fighters.

Give some PEDs to Louis or Jersey Joe and see how they trounce the current HW ranks.

This is a reasonable post. I don’t agree but it’s a reasonable take. But it’s not because of skill. Steroids and PEDs given equally and everyone competes. I still see no issue even without roids of men like Archie Moore or Joe Louis absolutely demolishing the likes of Rahman or Moorer

Johnson and Dempsey get holes stomped through them.

Putting Joe Louis with them is diabolical lmao.

Jefferies sucks compared to the best heavyweights post 1930 tbh, let alone up until now.

You need to be more specific. By modern heavyweights, do you mean any heavyweight boxing today? Anyone who ever made it into a top 10 annual ranking? Or the literal best of the best modern heavyweights? The answer will change depending on that.

Ah, then I agree with your take (sans Johnson standing a chance against the modern fighters).
