    No. Two solid wins versus Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter. Mikey was too small, Brook was damaged goods. This isn't HOF credentials.

    Yea he gets in. He was the man for some time before he got slingshot out of a moving vehicle. He made some big fights. At his peak he was a beast.

    Spence is 7-1 in world title fights. He had a good run at WW and fought some good guys, although I'm not sure he did enough overall. He was the definitive 2nd best WW when Crawford was there. Does being #2 in your only division warrant HoF? I'd say borderline, but leading towards no.

    It was good to have him in Australia, and he gave quite a long interview after the bout. i really like the bloke and he is far from the a.hole local media portrayed him as. But not HOF in my opinion, two losses weighs against him. Crawford yes.

    I have to say the way he fought against tszyu impressed me. He was obviously way weaker physically and yet he boxed beautifully at times. One could at least imagine how a prime Spence would have looked.

    I think even showing that reminiscence of his former self is a very hard thing to achieve in face of a stronger opponent. And I compliment him for that.

    If Errol Spence is a Hall of famer then I think Keith Thurman should be too

    There resumes and accomplishments aren't that far apart

    This sums up the problem with the HOF. There's no reliable criteria, entry is arbitrary.

    He's going to get in, compared to some already in there he probably deserves to. I personally wouldn't admit him, but then I'd restrict entry to only the most exceptional fighters of their era.

    Very good fighter, nice guy, but his resume is PBC smoke & mirrors heavy

    He fought a grand total of 2 career 147 world champions in his entire career and he struggled badly against both (Brook and Porter) and made only 1 defence against a career 147 champion during his 6 year + reign (Porter)

    You can't cite Tszyu's size and him being a career 154 pounder and the bigger stronger harder hitting man vs Spence whilst simultaneously ignoring the fact that Spence forged a career cleaning out 147 of its career 140 pounders and 135 Mikey where his size and strength advantage was a massive advantage for him

    Brook KO 65%
    Ugas KO 37% career 140 pounder who came up
    Danny KO 52% career 140 pounder low KO% at 147
    Mikey KO 71% blown up 135 pounder whose KO% above 135 = 0
    Peterson KO 41% career 140 pounder
    Algieri KO 31% career 140 pounder ATG featherfist
    Bundu KO 32%
    Van Heerden KO 36%
    Ocampo KO 68% - even Spence admitted Ocampo had no power
    Lo Greco KO 47%
    Porter KO 47%

    Crawford KO KO73% - fight wasn't even competitive

    Dragging fighters from lower divisions and names up in weight to make their stars look good and dupe the casuals into believing those names were proven and formidable at that weight and the punchers they were at lower weights is straight out of the PBC playbook, look no further than Twink's career. There was no reason whatsoever why Twink couldn't face prime elite fighters and the cream of the crop in his own divisions but he steadfastly avoided them like the plague and that has obviously been by design

    Spence wasn't the ducker Twink is but there's a reason why PBC had him cleaning out 147 of its career 140 pounders and barely facing any punchers his own size. He looked electric vs those career 140 pounders but struggled badly vs the 2 career 147 pounder champs he fought and obviously vs career 154 champ Tszyu too.

    Granted he was post-crash and coming up in weight and a 3 year layoff but just as his size, physical strength and power was a big advantage for him vs all those career 140 pounders it was plain to see that was also the case for Tszyu vs him
