Inoue is the P4P King and he has been beating guys who weigh-in at 122 for his last 9 fights. Prior to his last fight, Bam's fights at the championship level have come against guys weighing in at 115 or 112.

    The size difference is significant.

How is Bam "aging him out"? They are, quite literally, at 2 different stages of their careers.

I don't have a problem with the fight happening, despite the size difference. But Bam at least should play it smart. Short of a financial offer that is literally too good to refuse, Bam had just the one title fight at 118. Inoue isn't just average belt holder at 122 - he is the P4P King of Boxing. Rushing into the fight would be foolish for Bam, and if Inoue wins in style right now, many will dismiss it as being against a little guy. It makes more sense for Bam to have at least one more fight (ideally 2). But I guess if Inoue is hell bent on jumping to 126, then it's a now or never proposition.

I don’t doubt this fight getting made if both parties agree. What I do doubt is Inoue being forced to bend over backwards for Bam by waiting on their time, especially when he has the leverage. He said himself that he’s not fixated on Bam but is more than willing to face him if he agrees to fight by February of next year because he’s made it clear that he wants to grab another title at 126 soon. I personally think Bam will end up agreeing with those terms if it means making the fight that everyone wants to see happen.

Bam needs to fight people his own size instead of continuously talking about how he beats fighters above him without actually fighting them.

Funny when Inoue was at 118 he offered a fight to BAm who was at 115 and Bam chose to unify at 112 instead.

Only one side has been barking about this fight and it's BAM and his team for years now. Never has Inoue ever mentioned BAM once. So Fight Inoue next or just STFU.
