Does Tunney outbox Foster, or does Foster land the big one?

Ray Anderson survived against Bob by getting on his bike, but the result was never in doubt.
Pierre Fourie, really a super middle twice went the distance with" Belting Bob",so I must assume Tunney would too.
Tunney had some pop at Lhvy, and was very mobile,Foster was a methodical stalker I give Gene a narrow points victory here.

"The Fighting Marine" demonstrated in his bouts against Dempsey that he could withstand furious attacks.
    Tunney wins on points.

    I kinda like Gene here.
Tunneys footwork would make it difficult for Foster to set his feet and launch that left hand of his.
For me Tunney proved over time how durable he was and adaptable.
Only officially kd once I think in his career, so that makes me feel quite confident picking him.
Unanimous decision, something like 8-7 over 15 rounds.

Another vote for Tunney. In addition to a slight size advantage I'm not convinced by Foster's chin. Dick Tiger gave Foster a bit of a hard time before being put away in their match. I seem to recall Foster got rocked. Pretty sure Tunney belts harder than Dick.

Tunney was a solid boxer who had power. Foster had incredible power at 175, but Gene fought at a different level of movement and had enough power to keep you from getting careless. Tunney may choose to box but he would step in with power when the opportunity presented itself. Tunney by decision or late stop but at 175 don't sleep on Bobs power.
