Could Wilder chin Joshua now?

COULD he? Absolutely yes.

Would I put money on it? Nah.

Prime for prime Joshua was a lot more skilled and I always favoured him to win.

They’ve now both regressed. But I think Joshua has retained his power more, or he’s at least more willing to throw. I’d favour him to land first.

Sure because it doesn’t take a savage puncher to hurt AJ because he has a Glass Jaw. Wilder seems to have regressed completely. AJ at least is still a savage puncher.

 

I've always thought Wilder was all wrong for AJ, even when AJ WAS AJ...Joshua is the better fighter. More tools in his locker, a better record, bigger cultural impact. But Wilder chins him.

 

I like Joshua a lot more, but it is very hard to deny he is shot at his point. His punch resistance is completely gone, as are his reflexes and any defensive instinct he once had. Prenga, who lets be honest isn't all that, landed with the first power shot he threw and dropped AJ heavily. At this point any boxer who can punch is a massive risk for AJ, as it seems he simply cannot absorb or avoid power punches. Wilder, or any other puncher for that matter, will simply fold AJ with the first power shot he lands (and it certainly isn't hard to land on this version of Joshua.)

 

AJ isn’t as shot as is being made out. He’s always been robotic and hittable with garbage recovery

There was a very real chance Wilder stopped every version of Joshus and it was never more likely than now.

 

Wilders powers was always Wild,Joshua’s power has always been over rated ! At any time during there careers Wilder would have brutally KOd Joshua early doors,likely within 3 rounds,as soon as the fight would have been announced Joshua would have been a beaten man !

 

AJ’s problems have always been his Chin and Ring IQ. He just doesn’t ‘think’ in there and doesn’t react well to uncertainty. What AJ does still have is his savage power and that can be a huge equalizer especially if he has his head right. If AJ had Vitali Klitschko’s Chin and Floyd Mayweathers Ring IQ he’d be near unbeatable.

 

Wilder is 600 years old now. Anyone in top 30 beats him. No way he can beat Joshua, no matter how fragile the latter's chin became.
