At his absolute peak ,how would Lennox Lewis have fared against these guys?

Cleans house. A couple of fights could be tough.

 

Prime for Prime:

Lewis Vs Vitali - Lewis decision. A prime adequately prepared Lewis I think would be still be in for a tremendously tough fight against Vitali. Lewis would be sharper and less sloppy, but Vitali wouldn't be a late replacement either, allowing him more time to prepare for Lewis specifically. I think the fight either ends in a late TKO on cuts for Lewis, a late KO for Vitali, or a SD that can go either way. I guess I'll favour Lewis since he won when they actually fought.

Lewis Vs Wlad - Wlad would have a punchers chance and at long range it would be a very even fight, but once Lewis understood this he'd step on the gas pressure the action and blast Wlad out with his superior mid to close range skills. Lewis TKO7

Lewis Vs Joshua - Joshua would also have a punchers chance and would be dangerous in mid to close range but Lewis would be too skilled and powerful for him. Lewis lands some big shots early to discourage Joshua, outboxes him for most of the fight and then scores multiple KDs enough route to a stoppage win. Lewis TKO 8

Lewis Vs Fury - early rounds are competitive with Fury's speed and agility troubling Lewis, but Lewis consistently managing to out jab Fury and send him backwards. Lewis scores multiple knockdowns late but Fury manages to survive to lose a clear but competitive decision. Lewis UD

Lewis Vs Usyk - I've thought for a while that Usyk would prove to be one of Lewis's tougher matchups historically. Lewis never fought a mover as good as Usyk, and he never fought a southpaw at all, let alone one with the skill of a prime Usyk. I think the first few rounds of the fight looks similar to Usyk's first fight against Joshua. He uses his superior coordination and speed to befuddle and outbox Lewis. Eventually Lewis adjusts and starts using his size, powering forward and ripping shots to the body up close, leaning on and bullying the smaller Usyk. I doubt he could maintain that kind of pressure for the full fight though so he likely slows down in the last few rounds allowing Usyk back into the fight. Decision could go either way, but I think Usyk's better stamina allows him to win the late rounds and win the fight. Usyk SD

 

I pick Lewis over them all.

 

No, Lewis was losing until he cut Vitali. Its a fight I'd like to watch again because I remember Vitali beating him up, I thought it was gonna be a generational 'torch passing fight'.

 

He literally beat Vitali by doctor stoppage and gave his face serious lacerations. If Vitali couldn't beat that version of Lewis it is not likely or even a 50/50 chance he beats prime Lewis

 

Against that crop in a back-to-back fights? I'd pick Lennox to lose at least one fight, as great as he was.

 

It confounds me how people write that off as not a legitimate victory for Lewis, when Vitali losing by stoppage on cuts still means he lost.

Usyk isn't gonna give Lewis half the fight Holyfield did, and while Lewis wasn't necessarily known as a body puncher he would get them in from time to time and rather sneakily

At his best none of those guys are too difficult for him, and if one of them did manage a win Lewis still takes them 2-1

 

Does he fight them in a isolated fight or all in succession?

 

He states peak Lewis. I'd be confident he doesn't mean in a row.

 

He knocks out Fury and Vitali, and beats AJ after a cautious fight. He loses a close decision to Usyk and Wlad after boring fights.
Lewis is a stylistic nightmare for Vitali and Fury.

 

He beats them all imo.

 

I mean, Lewis "could" beat anybody. I'd fancy he'd lose a couple if he ran that gauntlet though, that's high level opposition.
