Who Hits Harder just in terms of 1 punch you can use any punch. It just has to be the one thats the hardest

You’d be out cold either way, so it would feel the same.

I don’t see much separating them. They’re pretty evenly matched both in terms of statistics and level of opponents knocked out.

If I had to pull the trigger and choose, I'd say Tua

Power vise Ruddock, it was a monster punch in his prime. But Tua threw his hook more often.

I'm not sure there's a discernible gap between them. What is discernible is their delivery. Ruddock with his huge wild swings with loads of effort, Tua far more compact and economical. I think combined power for both hands is Tua by a margin.

Knee-jerk first reaction was probably Ruddock with his absolute best shot but more like John, across all the punches that they're landing, I would've gone Tua if that question had been asked instead. Ruddock's best punch really was an absolute bomb, and it's no wonder he fell in love with it. Every man has fallen in love with his hand for some reason or another and used it a little too much to be healthy at some point and yet we always have to penalize Ruddock for it, and that is wrong.

And Tua also carried his power into the late rounds too.

Gonna go Tua but if somebody said that they measured and it was Ruddock I wouldn't be surprised.

Its hard to compare punching power when both guys hit so ridiculously hard.

    Ruddock KO’d tougher men though.

Ruddock if we're talking about who throws the hardest punch, Tua has power in both hands and there is little separating them
