Joshua on points at his best most likely, but he needs to stay at range and respect Tua, because if he doesn’t, he’d certainly get caught at some point.

He should stay tall rather than coming to Tua’s level. Tua is slow footed and would struggle to get close to the chin if Joshua stayed tall and fenced with the lead. There’s absolutely no reason for Joshua to come down to Tua’s level in height.

If it’s an explosive guy who closes the distance quick, like Povetkin, you sometimes need to change levels as they attack, because if you stay upright, they could set something up over the top and close the distance in an instant without you having enough time to see it coming to defend, whereas a slow footed guy is never gonna do that, they rely on your chin being in range for them.

Joshua outboxes him like he did Ruiz and like Lewis outboxed Tua.

With all due respect, joshuas footwork or jab are nowhere near as good as lennox footwork or jab. Plus joshuas defense was always leaky and his head movement is average at best. Tua was maybe slow footed but he was fast enough to knockout michael moorer who had better footwork then joshua for sure. His footwork was also fast enough for him to cut the distance and do serious damage against ibeabuchi although he lost that fight . My point is if he was being able to hurt moorer and ike and both had better footwork then joshua. Then david would be able to land on joshua and in my opinion he definitely will. Joshua ain't masterful boxer like lennox is. Joshua lacks discipline and movement to keep david at bay for entire fight. Plus joshua is chinny. I still have tua by stoppage.

    Voted Tua

Tua can be out boxed and inconsistent but he usually can force a firefight at some point. He even caught Lewis with a hard left hook early in the fight. I don't think Joshua has the ability to box and neutralize Tua as well as a guy like Lennox could. I also don't trust his ability to trade or survive Tua when he gets caught.

Joshua will probably be outboxing Tua until, out of nowhere, he gets his lights put out. Could happen in the first round, could happen in the 12th round. But, it is highly likely to happen at some point. Joshua has neither the chin, nor the recuperative powers to survive Tua's shots. He was stopped by a fat, mid-punching Ruiz, and was almost stopped in the first by a nobody. One thing about Tua was that he wasn't going anywhere. He will be swinging at Joshua all fight. That pressure will cause Joshua to wilt. Tua catches him eventually.

Joshua on points if he stays scared and at range. Tua by KO if Joshua gets adventurous.

Gemini says AJ late TKO or Tua upset KO but leans towards AJ

    The Styles & Physicality
Anthony Joshua (Prime): Standing at 6'6" with an 82-inch reach and operating around 240–245 pounds at his athletic peak, a prime AJ was a formidable specimen. He possessed an elite, stinging long jab, textbook combination punching, blazing hand speed for a big man, and a devastating right hand. When fighting on the front foot with confidence, he could systematically take opponents apart or blow them away.
David Tua ("The Tuaman"): Standing roughly 5'10" with a compact 70-inch reach but heavily built at a rock-solid 230–245 pounds, Tua was a terrifying combination of Mike Tyson-esque peek-a-boo pressure, granite durability, and one-punch left-hook knockout power. Tua walked through fire to get inside, possessed an all-time great chin (never legitimately knocked out or dropped in his prime), and threw concussive hooks with bad intentions.
    Tactical Dynamics
Controlling the Real Estate: The entire structural narrative of this fight would depend on distance. Joshua must use his 8-inch reach advantage, height, and mobility to keep Tua on the end of a stiff jab and straight right hands. If Joshua tries to trade with Tua in the phone booth or lets Tua back him up to the ropes, it spells disaster.
The Danger Zone: Tua specialized in fighting tall men. He would duck under Joshua's long punches, absorb whatever came down the pipe with his iron chin, and burrow his way inside to rip devastating hooks to Joshua's body and head. Joshua's stamina and vulnerability under sustained, suffocating pressure (as seen in fights like the Andy Ruiz or Wladimir Klitschko wars) would be heavily tested.
The Turning Point: Can Joshua keep Tua off of him for 12 rounds? Joshua has shown vulnerability to relentless, heavy-handed pressure fighters who refuse to respect his power. However, a prime Joshua was also heavily disciplined, technically sharp, and could punch with crippling force of his own. If Joshua fought defensively smart, pumping the jab and circling away, he could rack up clear points. If he chose to stand and trade or got caught on his heels, Tua's left hook would find a home.
    The Verdict
This fight doesn't go the distance. Both men hit way too hard and carry too many flaws in defensive pressure to stay upright for 12 rounds.
Anthony Joshua wins via mid-to-late round TKO (around rounds 8 to 10), or David Tua pulls off a devastating upset KO.
Leaning slightly toward Anthony Joshua by TKO: Provided Joshua uses his significant physical advantages to box intelligently—similar to how Lennox Lewis neutralized short, powerful brawlers—he can accumulate enough damage, score knockdowns from the outside, and force a stoppage. However, this remains a nightmare matchup for AJ, because all it takes is one defensive lapse for "The Tuaman" to end the night violently.

Its not that AJ couldnt win... but if he slipped up momentarily like he did several times in the first Ruiz fight this could have the same result but even more violent.

Joshua crumbles under pressure following Tua's initial aggression; Tua wins by TKO...

Lennox didn't run from Tua, he was on the backfoot but simultaneously in front of his opponent
