I like Ward, but he's getting mauled a bit here.

Ward forgoes the high guard and fighting w rt lead low. He does not like this pressure. Kasp w controlled pressure. ward holding a little. Subtle signs of fatigue on Ward. I got Kasp taking 1st 2. Ward not able to relax and it’s exhausting him.

 Joe Ward is a handsome chap though. Really unnecessarily risky matchmaking for his first fight back after a 2 year layoff which I'm assuming is due to injuries.

    Round 1 Kasparian 10-9
    Round 2 Kasparian 10-9
    Round 3 Ward 10-9

Ward shaded the third with the cleaner head shots, but it was still an arduous round for him.

2 hard lead rts early rd 3 from Kasp that caught Ward. Ward gonna get clipped w his reaching.War Winging his shots. w a few lefts but Kasp still on him. Ward eats a few rts at end of rd. Ward better make adjustment or he’s going to get steamrolled. 3-0 Kasp. At this pace, I don’t think Ward will make it through 10.

I just took a pause from the DAZN card to catch up on the Paramount+ card and I'll avoid spoilers here but the Stephen McKenna-Owen O'Neill middleweight bout wound up being quite entertaining -- as Max Kellerman will repeatedly tell you .... ;)

    Round 1 Kasparian 10-9
    Round 2 Kasparian 10-9
    Round 3 Ward 10-9
    Round 4 Kasparian 10-9

War started well, snapped his head back, but Kasparian battered the hell out of him late.

4-A little more success for Ward here. Pace slowed a little. Ward w success to body…Ward looking tired now. Wild shots. Ward back to ropes. He’s got very little on his shots. Nothing on his shots. Ward getting chopped down. He may capitulate soon. His corner knows he’s in trouble. Ward had his best moments of the fight early rd but paid dearly last min. 4-0. I seriously doubt this goes 10.

Skipper Kelp's voice is just as annoying as his scorecards usually are.

    Round 2 Kasparian 10-9
    Round 3 Ward 10-9
    Round 4 Kasparian 10-9
    Round 5 Ward 10-9

Ward nicked that round, with several hard lefts and uppercuts from Joe.

5-Ward pushing off. Trying to gain distance. Ward embarrassing wild shots. Ward keeps pushing off to gain his range. Big uppercut Ward. Tagged Kasp. His best shot of fight. Ward w some success at end. Backing Kasp to ropes. Subtle Signs of Hope for Ward. By far his best rd. 4-1 Kasp.

Kasparian fought a lot of the top guys in the amateurs among many others

    Lost on points to

    La Cruz
    Iglesias
    Whittaker

    Beat Khalil Coe

Ward needs to fire his handlers for serving up this guy after a 2 year layoff they're either complete morons or sadists
