Which Fighter Could Have Been Even Greater ,If They'd Possessed An Elite Chin?

Jaime Garza and Pedro Decima deserve a shout out. 2 vicious punchers with fragile chins. Imagine how much better those two would have been with a sturdier chin.

 

Buster Douglas maybe. He'd have the Tucker win and wouldn't have the embarrassing KO losses.

Still loses to atg Holy on points but thats a reasonable loss and he came in poor shape.

 

Khan is the first one that came to mind

 

I agree it wasn't just chin.

Even though I think with a better chin he may have let his hands go more against Fury. Not sure it would have been enough but would have made it more interesting.

 

John Tate was travelling along nicely until his chin let him down, first against Weaver and then Berbick.

When he got KO’d, they were of that scary, total short circuit variety - similar to some of the KOs that Roy Jones later suffered.

John was a relatively big dude who carried some very nice skills along with him.

So yeah, with a better chin, John would’ve likely gone that much further.

 

Wlad would have been the greatest ever ..

 

He gassed against Tucker. Nothing to do with his chin.
