At least in the U.S., the absence of a reliable broadcast partner has choked the sport. There's not going to be American talent if no one sees fights or has anything to aspire to. Kids in metro areas who populated boxing in the past probably aren't getting DAZN.

There is no good reason why fury and AJ haven't signed to fight each other at this point. Benavidez needs to pick what division he wants to fight in and either fight Opetaia or the winner of bivol beterbiev 3. Champions at 168, 160, 147, 140, 135 and 126 need to try and unify to make this sport exciting

This years has had plenty of very good fights. And just last Saturday we had 2 entertaining scraps. And next month we have Canelo vs Mbilli and Navarrete vs Foster to look forward to, both of which should be very fun. People just need to be patient.

Too many of the top boxers are inactive or fighting soft opposition. The promoters and boxers have been reluctant to make compelling matchups for some reason.

The Hrgovic-Itauma card wasn't bad. But why would anybody be stupid enough to buy the Benn-Garcia PPV? Why are fights like this between lesser boxers hyped so much?

There are many interesting matchups that could be made. Hopefully it will get better before the end of the year - it would be good if:

    1) Kabayel defends his title by November
    2) if we get Hrgovic-Sanchez before the end of the year
    3) Gassiev fights again before the end of the year
    4) some of the better up-and-coming heavyweights like Teremona, Dronov, and Danier Pero step up and fight a decent opponent
    5) some of the talented light heavyweights like Dzambekov and Ataev have fights against meaningful opponents
    6) they stop posturing and bickering and get the Fury-Joshua fight finalized
