How is she 31? Literally just saw. She looks likes she's 48. An aged 48.

I dont dispute Shields is talented, but her level of competition is dreadful. I know the depth at the higher weights is poor and thats
not her fault, but I refuse to acknowledge her as some sort of GWOAT when you have fighters like Taylor and Serrano testing themselves regularly.

It didn't. Sports are full of gangsters. How can soccer teams make money when they pay a single player 50 million euros to join them? It's bull****. Owners are criminals in suits. They exist everywhere.

I'm happy for Shields. It takes an almost comic amount of self-delusion to believe all the hype she spouts about herself while beating soccer moms. Truly a blessed existence unburdened by self-reflection.

You need to put a little more respect on Claressa Shields’ name. She’s a two-time Olympic gold medalist, a five-division world champion, and she’s gone undisputed in two different weight classes. On top of that, she stacked up a ton of world and international gold medals in the amateurs.

She didn’t pick those belts and medals off a tree. She put in the work, paid her dues, stepped between the ropes, and earned every damn one of them the hard way. She fought whoever was put in front of her, collected straps across divisions, and proved herself over and over again.

Like her or not, you’ve got to respect the résumé. Claressa Shields is hands down the GWOAT of women’s boxing.

She is the "world champion" in a division with 53 pro fighters according to boxrec. The no.2 ranked fighter in the division has 5 (five!) Fights to her name also according to boxrec. The fighter ranked #20 has a record of 1 win, 1 defeat and 1 draw. The champion of my local boxing gym has a deeper resume than CS.

Claressa is the punchline at the end of the joke that is women's boxing.

That's absolutely ridiculous. Look at her amateur record. I couldn't keep up counting with the number of gold medals she won. She's absolutely the best of the best in women's boxing.
