Measured by effectiveness , rather than knock out percent?

Man....some really really good right hands in this division. Better have a tight defense.

Another one not mentioned is Muhammad Ali. Not the concusive power of the others mentioned, but highly effective because of the speed and accuracy. It certainly was effective or possibly the best right hand w/o serious power.

Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder, Earnie Shavers and Lennox Lewis are also good answers.

Damn.. Louis damaging a lot of brain cells there. Good fight. Buddy Baer looked to be a good inside fighter for such a big man. Ref should have stopped that fight sooner.

And Louis could throw a hard right hand from a very short distance.

The guy who had it but didn't always use it, Wlad.

The guy who had it and actually used it, Joseph Barrow.

The first name i thought of was Lennox Lewis. His right hand was a very damaging weapon but after watching the Joe Louis link its hard to say anyone was better than that.

Probably Joe Louis especially for punch variety, speed and power

Wlad Klitschko had a phenomenal right cross that was accurate and devastating but he did not have much of an uppercut overhand

Lennox Lewis had an outstanding right hand with variety and he had a tremendous uppercut

Ali had an accurate and quick right just not the thunderous power of the others though I think he gets sold a little short there

These type of questions are very subjective and often lack context. A fighter can have a big right hand, but if most of his KO's are B or C level overmatched opponents does that carry as much clout as someone KO'ing much bigger or better opposition? Wilder had a killer right hand, but his quality of opposition was pretty much trash. I'm leaning more towards Foreman, Liston, Lewis, Wlad for biggest right hand punchers.

    Wilder.
The problem is that besides his right hand, Wilder has nothing else; technique, defense, tactics, body punching, ring IQ... the only thing he has left is heart.
