A few on here have alluded to this.

Sounds like MR and AJ are owed quite a bit of cash.

A big part of sports washing is actually getting the cheque after you’ve sold your soul

This shows the absolute weakness of Kugan and his fellow YouTubers. I don't pretend to know what's going on and 22 minutes later I still don't know. Hearn is obviously fired up. In the past, the time taken to arrange an interview with a journalist or TV would have given him time to cool off and a professional journalist would have had time to prep their questions. Instead we get a shouting match with Hearn acting as if the viewers are business experts specialising in Saudi sport and Kugan completely out of his depth. It's all fine if they are talking about a ' cheeky nandos 'or agreeing that British boxing didn't exist before Anthony Joshua but once things get a little complicated you might as well have my dog conducting the interview. Hearn can criticize Simon Jordan as much as he likes and with good reason, but at least Jordan would have had the interview organised. That's why Hearn hates him because he's not one of the YouTube fanboys getting all dizzy because Hearn is talking to them. Complaining about the Saudis perhaps not being as straight as they thought would be like complaining about what happened to your kids after you let Jimmy Savile babysit. Hearn can see the gravy train pulling out of the station and he doesn't like it. Ultimately, us lot, the fans, the diehards, couldn't give a ****. Joshua Fury in 2026 is the blue ribbon casuals fight, like the proposed Mayweather Pacman fight. That didn't happen either. Are we surprised?

Eddie just seems bitter. He got into bed with the Saudis, sold his soul, and is now realising that Turki is a bigger predatory snake than he is – and that his plan to sell Matchroom for billions never materialised.

Now he’s stuck in Monaco, surrounded by even more snakes, but without the billions to parade around on a yacht like Philip Green. Maybe he needs to have a sit-down with an elite predator like Sir Philip for a masterclass in the art of the fleece: walking away with billions while everyone else is left holding the bag.

Either way, there’s a good night of boxing on both sides of the Atlantic to look forward to later.

That performance not only devalued himself it also devalued the Fury v Joshua fight. Business works differently in Saudi, Hearn has to realise he's not in the UK anymore. If I were Turki I would withhold the purse too if I could get away with it, £18m for that embarrassment. When you are as rich as the Saudi's there are no rules.

For years Hearn was the machine, he was happy getting in bed with Saudi, he is now realising he is a little cog in what a brutal machine that would probably have him killed tomorrow if they wanted, for years he has been running it and now he is basically a nothing and I think is really bruising his ego plus I wonder if what happened with the footballers in China is happening here, promised massive fees and then don't pay, I mean really what are you going to do, sue the Saudi government?

Amazed that a man with Hearn’s business acumen expected a bloke involved with executions to be a man of principle and honour.

    I reckon it's this.

They're losing relevancy in the game and the prospects of "going clear" (as in getting the billionaire tier pay out) are getting less and less as each day passes.

Eddie and AJ have both made 100s of millions though, so cry me a river.
