Is this really the best someone can up with in support of Joe's resume? Mike who moved up several weight classes fought smaller fighters:lol:

    McCallum.

Calz ain't do much until the end of his career. And 2 of those wins (Bhop and Roy) don't mean much.

It doesn't matter at all if people knew LAcy was rubbish or not.

What matters is that he WAS rubbish.

Whether everyone, some or noone knew that... doesn't matter. Because it doesnt change Lacy's skills what people believe. And his skills sucked.

So the Lacy that Calzaghe beat was rubbish (no matter whether people knew that before the fight or not).

It would not matter is Eubanks was in his prime and lacy really was a beast (which we all know was never ever the case) the body snatchers resume is still exponentially better:deal

    This was surely a joke.

    Even back then.

    Ridiculous.

McCallum has a better set of wins. Is this supposed to be some sort of sleight on Calzaghe? McCallum has a better set of wins than many great fighters..

Resurrecting a 10+ year old thread made off of a stupid question, filled with people agreeing with each other and childishly speculating / mocking those who might disagree but didn’t comment….

    Real high quality stuff here.

I could swear I didn’t resurrect this thread.

I’m sure this was on the first page when I commented and now someone has deleted their comment which initially bumped the thread.

Didn’t seem like something you’d do so I was a bit surprised seeing your comment lol.

I agree looking at their records now.

    McCallum - Calzaghe

Kalambay - Eubank (Kalambay had much more left than Eubank when McCallum beat him and Kalambay would probably have beaten Eubank prime for prime anyway)

Jackson - Kessler probably a better win for Calzaghe here

Graham - Lacy Graham is a much better win for McCallum here.

Hopkins - Collins Obviously Hopkins was 43 but still solid, and Collins was green, close, but Calzaghe’s win was probably better.

McCallum also beat Watson, and I can’t find another comparable win of Calzaghe’s to compare it to.

There are some close ones, but McCallum’s best wins are clearly better than Calzaghe’s best wins, so it’s undoubtedly McCallum.

In every thread with Calzaghe in the title, you will find Loudon, who has a morbid hatred for Calzaghe. Is it because Calzaghe schooled the man he dearly loves, Roy Jones Jr.?

The ironic thing is, YOU are in every Calzaghe thread.

    The Calzaghe Police.

If anyone says anything negative, they’re HATERS.
