Rolando Florencio Romero vs. Teofimo Andres Lopez & Victor Santillan vs. Gary Antonio Russell RBR.

I just watched the full fight and Teo definitely won but I don't see it being as wide as some on here

 

Teo landed as many straight rights to Rolly and Shakur's body and Haney did on Loma's body.

 

Bit of an underwhelming fight really, which was eminently predictable beforehand so I can't have any complaints after having stayed up to watch it. I see some claiming the fight to be a shutout in Teo's favour bar the one round he was rocked in, but I would not agree with such an assessment; especially earlier on, Rolly was boxing much better than people were giving him credit for, and the action was so sparse in those earlier rounds that neither fighter could really complain if they were scored against them. Watching the latter rounds was frustrating for someone on team Rolly, as by that point it was clear Teo was effected by Rolly's power, but Rolly was simply refusing to open up. Also apropos of nothing, but if Rolly heard the commentary he would have been well within his rights to chin Sergio Mora postfight, who pretty much spent the entire broadcast insinuating Rolly had some sort of learning disability.

 

119 - 109 Teofimo. I didn’t even think there were any swing rounds. Those scorecards were insane. All three of the judges should be barred from being in a room where boxing is happening or even being discussed ever again.

 

This fight was really anticipated?

 

Isn't it a minor miracle that he has gone on to become a contender.

 

Teo can't handle Aussies

 

Lacking a single brain cell is usually considered a mental issue yes.
