Rico by about 1,000,000 country miles. This isn't even close. Rico looked like he'd have been a top tier talent had he taken up boxing instead of kickboxing. Looked like he'd have been the 5th elite in the era now coming to a close. Would have been AJ, Fury, Usyk, Wilder, and Rico. The speed and gas tank he showed at 260lbs, at age 37, was unreal. Imagine him at 30. I remember watching Douglas beat Tyson, live. I remember watching Ruiz beat AJ, live. I felt like I was watching another one of those until round 11 happened. And, uh, Douglas and Ruiz were actually highly credible world class boxers, even if not that well known; Rico was literally in his second pro fight (yes, I know his history and that he'd been sparring boxers forever).

AJ took the shine off the Ngannou performance. Made me go "eh, ok, Fury was just terrible that night". Usyk wasn't terrible against Rico. He wasn't his usual dominant, better than everyone self, but he still looked like a credible top tier heavyweight.
Agreed. You could see the moment Floyd decided "ok, I'm done with this ****", then promptly ended it. I gather Floyd could have done that in 1-2 rounds if he'd felt like it.
Floyd had a bet on himself to win in the round that he did. He wanted to put 1 or 2 million on it but he could only get on 400k.
Actually guys I'm wrong. He attempted to put on 400k on the fight going under 9.5 rounds which it did. But they wouldbt take his bet. He said he gave 400k to a friend to bet but they only let him put on 87k.
I said it in another thread a while ago but anyone who has watched Floyd for a decent amount of time could see that he was mocking McGregor stalking him with a cartoonish high guard and smiling for four or five rounds before going to work once he’d exerted himself thinking he had a chance.
