Stanionis is demonstrably better than Mean Machine since he literally beat him as an amateur. Bohachuk got slumped by an old Mosley Jr. and outboxed twice by Brandon Adams. The fact Vergil went life and death with him in a massively questionable decision isn't something especially worth bragging over imo. Xander wasn't an email champion either because he won his belt in the ring against Garcia and unified against Barou, who was a legitimate champion at the time. Pretending that Vergil's resume is miles ahead of Boots' is absurd.

Super disappointing to see Vergil moving up to 160 by the way. He's established himself as a serious threat and contender in two divisions now before leaving right before getting a title shot and ends up having to take time off. I do think Vergil is a massively talented fighter but he's wasting his career. Jermell does very little for him at this point in his career other than being a money-maker in Texas.

Which dude are you talking about? Boots has arguably the worst resume among champions in ALL of boxing in this tee-ball era when everyone gets a belt. You credit Boots for trying to fight Vergil before Xander but dont hold it against him for passing on Vergil now...especially after he was chinny versus email champ Xander...and why do the Boots boyscouts try to big up Xander so much?? Genuine question lol

Xander has a career of fighting in Puerto Rican and Mexican bars except for his last two fights where he won a split decision against a guy that lost to Jack freaking Culcay. I would favor the Bohachuk that battled Vergil to beat the Xander that lost to Boots...Bohachuk STOPS this email fella.

What would amateur fighting matter? You think Anyone beating Anyone in the amateurs has any bearing in the pros?! Is this real life?

There are so many fighters that lost as amateurs only to win as pros, its not even worth typing out. None of Bud, Cotto, JMM, or Tyson Fury had meaningful amateur careers yet theyre all 1st ballot HOF. Bud belongs on Mt Rushmore imo and JMM is an ATG 126-135. Cotto an ATG at 140. Fury is a great HW...long-winded way of saying Stanionis beating Mean Machine in amateurs means **** all. And Mean Machine beats Stanionis in pros.

This is the utter delusion I'm talking about.

Ortiz resume is overrated. Extremely overrated. What elite fighters did he beat ? Nobody. Madrimov has no world class wins. Murtazaliev has a better win than Madrimov and Kelly beat him. Fundora has better wins than Madrimov

I'd be a real sight to see your face when Boots demolish Ortiz after he goes to 160. You'll be praying Fundora or Kelly beats Boots, and your anxiety will go through the roof when Boots gets elevated to mandatory position assuming Ortiz can even win a belt at middleweight

Charlo fights as often as Keith Thurman. He has no chance here at all

We might see Lara on the under card of Timmy v The Houston Hare.

I like Ortiz from the limited fights that I have seen him.

    Never disputed that
Just odd that the interest just died on the fight all of a sudden
