Nah i like Gsp but he's been beaten by lesser athletes. Matt Hughes was a 1 dimensional wrestler, matt Serra, and Johnny Hendricks got robbed. I get Jones has had that one close fight with Reyes, but he's never been finished or beaten. His chin, iq, and well versified skillsets like kicking and range control makes him a more complete mma fighter than Gsp ever was. Jon Jones is peak mma representation.

Agree 100% Jones still being employed by The UFC is a testament to how ****ed up society has become. It’s truly is. THREE failed PED tests and multiple arrests including a drunken traffic stop while going on tirade yelling slurs at those police officers. Complete parasite to the sport and if someone like GSP or The HW Champ Aspinall did something like that… they’d be out of the UFC faster than you could say Usual Suspect.
There are obviously caveats to his career, but yeah, he clearly has the strongest case for being the GOAT. People just dont like to admit it because hes an *******. Hes held to higher standards than the other GOAT contenders. People complain about him ducking elite prime fighters a weight class above him when hes in his late 30s and almost 20 years into his career, meanwhile at that same point other GOAT contenders had either long retired or fallen off massively. Or people criticizing him for the few contentious decisions he got the nod in, when most of the other GOAT contenders straight up got stopped multiple times. I'm not even saying these arent legit criticisms, just that it shows hes being held to a different standard. His overall level of opposition is second only to GSPs as far as the GOAT contenders go, but he didnt lose like GSP did. Hes also far and away more secure in his position as all time no1 LHW than the other GOAT contenders are as the no1 guy at their respective weight classes. Lastly, as a LHW, and a big one at that, he has a solid case for being the best fighter all time HEAD TO HEAD as well. You couldn't realistically count him out against any HW ever considering his size and what he did to DC and Gane. So yes, people may not like it, but ******* or not, hes the GOAT. No2 is clearly GSP.
