I don't count ryan garcia's ped performance. And after that he looked dreadful. His performance against tank was also weird. Not even the ending but also the approach at the beginning. To me he looked best against guys like Campbell and Duarte.
Also Tank seemed to mostly excel against fighters coming up in weight or with other disadvantages. When fighting cruz it got close and against roach it was too much. So a dedicated much bigger than him (and still fighting in 135) haney should pose a problem when he managed to look bad vs pre prime romero at times.

Loma over Stevenson (the actual final of the tournament because both would beat anyone else - loma wins in a fight that looks like zepeda vs stevenson only that loma's offense is way better and draining stevensons concentration)

I take 'in their prime at the same weight' as 'make them the same size'. Loma without size disadvantage is hard to overcome. It played a role in his lopez loss and he dominated in the later rounds (also apparently he didn't trust his arm) and he should have won against the much bigger haney anyways. Take super bantam or light loma sized up to super light and see how that ends up for his opponents.

Navarrete over garcia seems unpopular, but I see him taking maybe a few knockdowns but then getting to garcia via grit and because he is unorthodox in timing and rhythm and technique.

If i could do a same size tournament I would have

I'd have to go with Loma

 

Tank Davis would KO anyone on the list, every day of the week, especially Loma, he was tailor made for Tank.

 

First Match:

• Tank over Haney. The Tank that beat Frank Martin would cut the ring off on Haney and either knock him out or drop him a bunch of times to win a decision.
• Loma over Shakur. The best and most highly skilled matchup that we didn't get to see in this era. Shakur's defense and counterpunching would pose problems for Loma, but I think Loma's educated pressure and volume that is superior to Zepeda would win him the fight.
• Teo over Valdez. For all of Teo's flaws, he is still an elite counterpuncher and would crush Valdez.
• García over Navarrete. Nav is the better fighter, but Ryan is simply bigger and too athletically gifted.

Semi-Finals Match:

• Tank over Garcia. We already saw this fight and even if Ryan wasn't weight drained, I think Tank will still get the victory by stoppage.
• Loma over Teo. Hypocritical of me to say after having Tank over Garcia but I just think that if Loma was a little bigger in size and dealt with Teo the same way he did in the later rounds of their actual fight, I think Loma would win. He would continually see the flaws in Teo's game and be more aggressive like he usually is with opponents like Pedraza, Linares, and etc. Like imo if they had a rematch after their actual fight, I think Loma would have beaten Teo.

Finals Match:

• Loma over Tank. Despite Tank being skilled and having more explosive power, Loma is simply more proven at the top level and takes advantage of Tank's low output. Leo Santa Cruz before the knockout was overwhelming Tank with his volume and I think Loma would simply do better and be more defensively responible. I got Loma by decision.

Overall: Loma. The man easily could have been the first three time undipsuted champion in history but got robbed of that legacy by opponents ducking him and boxing politics. Hope to see him again this November against Suarez and eventually Nav.

 

Don't forget Salido punching him in the balls twenty plus times like a Mexican Golota.

 

I’m not a fan of him but I have to admit that Shakur would outbox all of these guys.
