He just needs experience, he went into this fight grossly underprepared in that department. The talent is obvious, he has passed the chin and heart check tonight for me. Still imagine he comes back from this. Fair play to Hrgovic he is tough as old oak and executed the game-plan to perfection.

That's a bit harsh. He gassed himself out and was otherwise kicking Hrgovics ass.

Solid performance, passed the chin check, clearly has power, speed and decent ring IQ. Really needs more rounds and to work on stamina.

He needs to ditch Ben though he's ****ing useless in the corner.

People get way too carried away with a young talent.

He clearly had talent. But his behaviour prior to the fight was appalling.

He tried to make it personal with Hrgovic, tried to go for a ko and paid the price.

All he had to do was pace himself.

The British Tyson is now going to work on winning a belt while younger than Joe Parker.

I am not a Ben Davidson fan. But Ben isn't the one telling him to go for the ko. Itauma did it himself.

    Itauma was excellent
I picked Hrgovic inside the distance and gave the reasoning as to why, but Itauma put up an excellent fight for such a young fighter
    He did really well

All that glazing was ridiculous. " we're going to witness greatness "

    " we're witnessing greatness "

Even during the fight people carrying on like he was the greatest. He hadn't even won. I'm so glad he lost all his fan boys can go back in their box now.

    This.

The bigger questions to be honest are for those who are advising and guiding him in his career. He's an incredible talent but was clearly moved too quickly and that lack of nouse and experience was brutally exposed.

There'll be plenty mocking him, but anyone that even half enjoys boxing that watched the speed and accuracy he brought to the HW division tonight will want to see how he responds to this.

He was winning the fight and gassed like an amateur and was about to get knocked the **** out. Doing well would be winning. Especially being in front late on.

He choked. And he wasn't good enough. He lost to the superior fighter.
