That counter uppercut Hrgovic ate at the end of one of the rounds like nothing was insane.

Moses can be a 12 round fighter but it takes intelligence to do it. He wasnt fighting smart all fight and should have adjusted his energy expenditure when it became clear his shots were probably not going to stop Filip and he should have adjusted to win the decision, which had he focused on ring generalship, jabs and sharp counters he would have done so. Instead he kept unloading and overextending on full body power shots over and over round after round.

I don't think the hype train is ended - Moses answered a lot of questions tonight, but Hrgo would not be denied!

I agree. I'm not ready to write him off like everyone else seems to have, but these comments really irked me. And I'm not just talking about the commentators—posters here were doing it too. Everyone was talking as if Hrgovic was ready to go at any moment, when the reality was the complete opposite. He was flat-out exhausted, his legs were completely gone as he went back to his corner, yet everyone was still swearing he was going to get the KO in the 9th.

It’s clear Itauma let Hrgovic get in his head. He could’ve stayed on the back foot, stay behind the jab ad coast, yet he kept trying to get the KO despite seeing how good Hrgo’s chin was. Oh well, better to learn this way than spent years crushing cans.

Very happy for Hrgovic. He’s the toughest man boxing has seen since Ray Mercer.

Yeah but Fury exhausted against John McDermott who is far deadlier than hurgo still made the distance fighting on fumes. Different breeds. ;)

Well, there goes the HW division. Back being relegated to obscurity. No stars, no charisma, to great talents on the horizon.
