You're ignoring the evidence because it hurts your point. Why should I care what celeb heights say but not the official tale of the tape?
Because the tale of the tape is wrong, Ruiz is roughly 6 foot. He is literally shorter than an old decrepit Holyfield
You're ignoring actual visual evidence that's a clear rebuttal which shows Ruiz isn't 6'2. It's widely known Ruiz isn't 6'2 everyone knows this just do some research for 10 minutes or compare Ruiz to any famous person in a photo will tell you this. If you choose to ignore it that's your problem not mine.
You're going for the size thing. OK I would say that as soon as Frazier lands his first solid left hook, and it shouldn't take more than a few rounds, Joshua is coming undone. Not a difficult pick to choose from all the scenarios. Two rounds after Frazier lands his first solid left-hook, Joshua is getting stopped, TKO, on his feet (there's the size advantage), by round six.
After three rounds, Joshua wants to go back home. Joshua isn't a warrior. Joe was born for this sport. Period.
Joshua does not have a mind like a steel-trap. He has a mind like play-dough, as far as that goes. Easy to dent. If you have a mind like a steel-trap, 210 is all you need. Like Holyfield vs. Douglas (some people put an asterisk by that one.. too bad for them Tyson fanatics) or like Frazier in the FOTC (and a few more).
I'm not sure why this is so personal to you? Others have noted you seem determined for this conclusion to be true and it just isn't no matter how hard you try. But yes, being 15–20 pounds heavier, along with superior hand speed, superior foot speed, and much better cut resistance, absolutely makes a difference in H2H matchups. Sorry if that's now what you want to hear.
Yes but being 15-20 pounds heavier than 185 isn't that big a deal against a 6'6 250 pound accurate power puncher, unless you have an iron chin or very elusive style And in the case of Frazier and Marciano, both showed similar durability and AJ won't have to depend on cuts against Frazier anymore than Foreman had to depend on cuts. Also, Marciano might be smaller than Frazier, but both showed similar strength in the ring and Marciano's right is arguably harder than Frazier’s left and Marciano's left hook is harder than Frazier’s right. Yes, smaller men can hit harder than bigger men sometimes. Johansson hit harder than Ali for instance, despite a 20ish pound weight gap. And while Frazier was a great fighter, I think there's this thing with overestimating "golden age" heavyweights in comparison to later heavyweights. Quiet as it's kept, if you say Marciano would be a light heavyweight or cruiser moving up from light heavyweight, that applies to many golden age heavies as well. I mean DB was 6'2 196 with a 74 in reach in his last fight. Quarry was 6'0 195-200 with day of weigh ins with a 72 in reach in his prime. Shorter height and reach than DB and similar weight. Quarry would likely make light heavyweight today and likely move up from there to cruiserweight. Like Marciano would. But yet Quarry beat Lyle and Shavers. Which raises the question...could the bigger golden age heavies like Shavers, Lyle, Foster be taken by today's light heavyweights and cruiserweights? Probably.
There's nothing to agree to disagree on. There's countless visual evidence that's a clear undeniable rebuttal which shows I'm right. I've even posted a clear image in this thread that pretty much shows that Ruiz is not remotely close to 6'2. I don't have to concede anything because you're too stubborn or just don't want to admit what's right infront of you As I said that's your issue not mine.
