Fury (maybe not now) is literally the worst style match up for Hrgovic now that I think about it. He would literally win every round.

Yeah. But you need to be able to navigate a 12 round fight. It was obvious what Hrgovic was going to do. Baffles me that trainers cant see this and get paid

It's certainly eased off (ngl, I expected Itauma to win via cut stoppage).

But if Itauma was going to lose, this was probably best case scenario (punching himself to exhaustion). He showed a lotta skill, grit and determination and he fell short. No shame in that, he's only 21 and if he learns a hard lesson here, then he has an exciting future in the spot.

No, the best heavyweight in the division would have had the intelligence to know he was 8 rounds up and didn't need to force the KO and control the fight with a jab, stop loading up on shots.

Makes you appreciate the run Joshua went on earlier in his career culminating in knocking out Wlad

    OMG!

On the night they fought these guys were absolutely the better man. Lewis righted the wrong whereas Tyson didn't. That's why we have rematches or even rebuild careers.

The ball is now in Itauma's court to redeem himself and prove his true worth. You fapping over him despite him being rescued by his corner when he was beaten isn't going to do it.

Take the L and learn from it.

Now THAT'S an interesting fight, I wonder who's mandible gets shattered first. My guess is it's Sanchez. He makes Itauma look like Oliver McCall!

Do you guys remember when Eddy Reinoso told Canelo to stop trading and throwing recklessly against Golovkin warning him he couldn’t knock him out??

What the hell was going through Itauma and his corner’s heads? It was pretty obvious Hrgovic wasn’t even reacting to his punches as the fight went on and Moses was gassing.

What kind of advice did he receive? I think he needs to change his head coach. This was extremely embarrassing and low IQ. To lose a fight you were widely winning out of pure exhaustion.

He could’ve boxed. Hrgovic’s punches weren’t doing that much damage. Why risk it like this for a knock out?

You know fellas. When Hrgovic turned pro in 2017, I said he was gonna become a world champ. Now, I didn't pick him, but I am very happy he finally became a world champion in such a epic way. :chuck:

I’ve always said on here Sanchez is a very underrated trainer. He gets results. De La Hoya said if he could do one thing over in his career it would have been keeping Sanchez in his camp in some capacity for his whole career.
