It literally had nothing to do with his chin.

    Are you actually serious?

He punched himself out and completely emptied his tank.

    It was inexperience.

    Poor tactics and stamina.

Nothing at all to do with his chin.

There has always been rumours of Itauma being lazy and not having the greatest of chins and tonight confirmed it for me ! There is also the fact that young exciting power punchers normally fight more often to get the rounds in we ALL know that but this wasn’t the case with Itauma who did not fight often at all despite his well known attributes, did his Team know something we didn’t ? Frank will be devastated after his hand picked opponent to give Itauma rounds just destroyed his “ Wonder Boy “

It’s too early too tell if he has the whiskers or not. Hrgovic doesn’t have the sort of power to test someone’s chin properly like Dubois, AJ, or Wardley. Itauma was knocked out tonight because he emptied his gas tank, nothing else.

Even Hrgovic said it "chins matter in boxing "

And the difference in this fight was he had one.

    Itauma? Not so much.

Itauma took a lot of clean shots from Hrgovic and seemed fine, just gassed himself out.

I'd rate that chin fairly high for now. Kid has a lot of heart, a good chin, and the skills to bounce back. Even got a KD against Hrgovic which is no small feat.

How many times did David Price have to get KO'd before the deniers finally dropped the 'he just gassed' myth?

Yeah, no ****. All this spin about leg injuries, poor stamina, on and on, is just so much noise designed to obscure Itauma's clear mandibular deficiencies.

This will be my last post.

    This is simply ridiculous.

He proved that he’s got a good chin.

Again, you’re either trolling or you were drunk.

When they came out in that final round, Moses was absolutely spent.

He could barely stand, even without being hit. He had to have oxygen after.

As much as it was a complete disaster for him, he actually proved that he’s got a good chin and plenty of heart.

Hgrovic just took huge shots and outlasted him.

All credit to him. But Moses beat himself.

With different tactics and more experience, Hgrovic wouldn’t have had a chance of beating him.

Yeah, Moses beat himself, because he didn't have the CHIN to stand up to Hrgovic's feather fists for 12 rounds.

Hrgovic was proven proven right as were those of us who emphasize the centrality of punch resistance to success in this sport - chins are important, critically important!!

Hrgovic was very tired himself and he'd taken a ton of flush bombs both upstairs and down

He also gassed vs Dubois after dominating early but strangely that gets completely ignored by many as do the dozens of headbutts from Dubois which at an absolute bare minimum should've resulted in point deductions for Dubois and the ref reading him the riot act for constantly coming in with his head all night like an irate bully goat. Hrgovic was stitched up on more ways than one that night and should've been declared the winner

Hrgovic was also gassed against Big Bang at times

But his chin has never let him down

I'm not saying Moses has a bad chin but why are people acting like it's proven when they don't even rate Hrgovic or consider him a big puncher and Hrgovic didn't actually catch him much flush with his right hand and on the few occasions he did Moses looked noticeably uncomfortable?

How much of what of what Hrgovic was able to withstand last night would Moses have been able to? Speaking as one of the world's leading authorities on punch resistance and chin science I can assure you from my expert observations it would only be a fraction and for all his undoubted talent that begs the question how will his whiskers hold up when facing the elite punchers in the division?

So his chin is, in fact, still unproven against the kind of savage power that makes the HW division such a perilous minefield

Moses has fought one world class fighter who who didn't even catch him clean that often with his right hand so whilst it is indeed true exhaustion played a big part it's also true that his chin wasn't really tested that much and Hrgovic did actually hurt him

And the way he reacted when Hrgovic did catch him clean with the right hands he didn't see coming or saw too late concerned me a little

Don't forget that the vast majority of those who are subsequently trying to discredit Hrgovic's win picked Moses to steamroller him inside 3 rounds and 90 whatever percent it was gave him zero chance. The disrespect shown to Hrgovic who had everything stacked against him and was a massive underdog who was brought into get bashed up, make Moses look good on his coronation night vs a very favourable stylistic match up for him was disgusting

Glass Jaws exist in boxing we WILL discuss them on here as punch resistance is THE most important attribute to a fighter.
