Moses itauma was schooling hrgovic we need a REMATCH NOW

You say ‘small adjustments’ but he would have to completely rework his style to make it through a 12 round fight. Guy looked ready to pass out going into the 9th. He will have to pace himself, not put everything into every shot, not jump at every opening, and streamline his twitchy constantly moving style. But if he does all that then he will not be as dominant and would give Hrgovic a good shot at asserting himself in the fight.

Although I had Itauma in a clear lead I think it’s being overstated how much he was dominating. I gave Hrgovic two rounds and thought he was consistently landing jabs and right hands and occasional body shots. Not enough to win but enough to make me think that if Itauma wasn’t operating at 100% at all times then the fight probably would’ve been very even.

Itauma didn’t even deserve this fight, he certainly doesn’t deserve a rematch after getting knocked out. He should, you know, at least beat someone in the top 30 before they start thinking about a title shot lol.

 

He fought a bunch of tomato cans before yesterday. He doesn't deserve **** he was about to get KTFO. Gassed or not.

Hrgovic looked like a amateur. So ****in slow, had no defence, his punches were missing the target. At some point it was 39 to 1 in landed punches for Itauma. He is very lucky to have a championship fight against a inexperienced 21 year old kid with no gas tank. He would loose easily against all other top contenders in the division.

the reason i say it killed his career is since he was a youth and sparred grown men in the ring, people have only been praising him and hyping him up..
he's been hearing since his youth and it's embedded in his psyche..
i said before the fight that hrgovic is going to take itauma to a dark place..
he got taken to a very dark place..
he was pushed too fast, too soon..
i remember before the mayweather hatton fight, on one of the 24/7 episodes, roger mayweather was saying..
''we're gonna sprinkle some salt, some pepper and seasoning''
well. itauma got the lot against hrgovic..
before john the beast mugabi fout marvin hagler, he was blowing everybody away..
when he fought duane thomas, he capitulated..for sure the hagler fight damaged him, and he was never the same after that fight..
moses should call it a day and get out of the sport..
he can say he fought for the title, made some money, and get out with his faculties intact..
if he continues, he can incur some serious damage..
my opinion, the way he was hyped up and rushed, then getting the beating he got, even though he won almost every round has permanently damged him..
he's got his whole life ahead of him and i think most of his family are educated people, i know his father is a chemical engineer..
as much as i'm a massive hrgovic fan, and am croatian from australia, i still like itauma..
i just knew that hrgovic wasn't going to be denied, and had absolutely no doubt that he was going to be victorious..
when i went on a few youtube sites who were previewing the fight, i gave my thoughts, mentioning that itauma is going to go to a dark place, a lot of people ridiculed me..
for me, the final game changer was seeing hrgovic, when he arrived in london during fight week, man!!! he was locked in, looked happy, relaxed, unfazed and zoned in..
he was stepping into the lions den, the arena was a pro itauma crowd..
he walked into the ring first, was introduced first, all supposedly giving advantages to itauma by walking in second and getting introduced second, and having the pro itauma crowd drowning out any noise hrgovic's fans could make..
once again, i think itauma should retire..
as much as he was fatigued, he did take a beating when hrgovic finally came on strong..

Worst move Itauma could make is a rematch

The hype is gone so he needs to go about his business as low key as possible now
Forget the expectations and do things the right way

Start by getting rid of Ben Davidson ASAP and get some discipline in his camp

Somebody that won't let Itauma do as he pleases

I'd wager down the line the punches Hrgovic takes will be more detrimental

 

has been for a long time, and pay tv really damaged it..
as far as itauma goes, the way he was stumbling around like a drunk, and hrgovic cracking him, he's permanently psychologically scarred for life..
he should retire..
there's no coming back from what happened to him, on top of that being stretchered out added to the psychological damage

 

We'll just have to see

he's only 21, and got his life ahead of him

 

Just don't watch then

For me this loss like any has the potential to go either way for the guy
