Itauma is a beast and a future champion.

Everyone was calling for him to chase a strap after half a dozen fights mate. He clearly wasn’t ready and he’s still clearly not ready. He has time on his side and I certainly wouldn’t bet against him coming back but he ain’t this unstoppable freak that many on here said he was.

 

He might be able to beat a very weak belt holder at best. Gassiev in particular, and I'm not confident at all.

Itauma needs a lot of work to become champion, a lot of work.

 

I wasn't particularly impressed by his chin in all honesty. It reminds me a lot of when AJ gets hit, he crumbles and overall as we saw I think its a pretty mediocre chin.

 

Yeah what's with that 'fro? His head's already the size of a watermelon, with the hair on top it's longer than most of his opponents' bodies.

 

First off, heartfelt congratulations to you, your fighter, and your countryman. This is a great moment for a country that punches well above its weight.

Secondly, yes, and the best thing that could happen for Filip is if Itauma takes off and becomes a legend in his own right. Hrgovic will always be the guy who took him to school and make a man out of him.
