Itauma is far more skilled than Dubois imo. He was winning most if not all rounds against Hrgovic.

Defensively he's v good too, quick, great punch selection. Needs heavy work on pacing/stamina

Usyk is done as “the” champ, he’s not sticking around. His last fight showed that age has caught up with him. He will probably have one more circus fight to cash out and then he sets sail for retirement.

Itauma has all the tools to take the division, but he needs better trainers and managers. The fact that they didn’t envision a plan B ie Hrgovic not being knocked out within 6 rounds shows high level of incompetence.

Dubois will be a top contender/paper champ, who will pull off upsets here and there, but he lacks the heart to be THE Champ

Kabayel is yet to be tested by one of the top guys, whether it’s Dubois, Wardley, Fury, Hrgovic etc… but he’s not exciting like Itauma.

Hrgovic Homer Simpsoned himself to a win. You can’t use that strategy on everyone, eventually someone will go the distance of punishing you for 12 rounds. In other words he didn’t inspire world beating confidence, far from it. His fate will be a tough contender that fighters will use as a stepping stone.

As for the likes of Fury and AJ, they’re right behind Usyk on the way out. Their best days are behind them, but they’ll stick around until they receive another loss or two maybe 3 on the sheer strength of their promotional power to generate money.

Gassiev is the definition of a paper belt holder.

Hrgovic or Kabayel, then just as they retire Warren will have built Itauma back up and he will take over.
