All of them can be beaten

None of them have the special magic Usyk or Fury used to have

Kabayel and dubious are the top dogs now though, we can consider Fury and Usyk retired old men.

Dubious can beat Kabayel with his raw power but that's no guarantee in boxing

Kabayel can crush dubious as well

Skills pay the bills is still the golden rule of boxing. Prime Fury would have fun with both in the ring easy work same with Usyk...oh even forgot that Usyk did manage that with dubious.

It's a shame Usyk feels he has regressed enough that Kabayel is too dangerous now. I think he could pull it off but not worth the risk I guess. Why not though? I wouldn't hold a loss against what should be a retired Usyk.

I love Kabayel and have rated him highly for a long time but Hrgovic is predictably being disrespected and sold short here yet again

Hrgovic beats Mak, Sanchez and Chisora and he did beat a 2.5 year younger 39 y/o Big Bang (albeit controversially) than the near 42 y/o version Kabayel beat and he did so whilst still badly cut up about the loss of his beloved father

Big Bang legit dropped Kabayel too but the KD Hrgovic suffered against Big Bang was clearly bogus IMO and Big Bang caught him with way more shots than he did Kabayel.

And that KD Hrgovic suffered vs Big Bang was the difference on the vast majority of the people's scorecards who feel Big Bang was robbed

Kabayel was badly hurt by and in desperate trouble against Euro level Croatian Smaciki so Hrgovic clearly has the much better chin of the two, not to say Kabayel doesn't have a good chin too

We know Kabayel is an excellent body puncher and that's what won him the fights vs Big Bang, Sanchez and Mak, but Hrgovic is made of iron and there's nothing to suggest Kabayel could stop him with body or head shots. Moses is a lot faster than Kabayel and tougher to tag and Hrgovic is going to be landing at a much higher rate vs him than he did vs Moses.

That's at worst a 60-40 fight in Kabayel's favour and many will see it as 50-50 or pick Hrgovic to win

What could work in Kabayel's favour is he has taken way less punishment in his career than Hrgovic has and Hrgovic's chin is going to crack at some point and maybe Saturday night's fight will have taken a lot out of it

It's a great match up and I hope it happens next. Both deserve the opportunity to unify and earn big purses

Apparently Hrgovic only earned £700k for the Moses fight and Moses earned £1.5 mill and I think Kabayel's biggest purse to date was $1.2 mill vs Big Bang, unless he earned more than that at home vs Kynba

Kabayel has for me been the best of the chasing pack behind Usyk, now with Usyk self removed from Championship level I honestly think Kabayel beats the rest of the belt holders to get Undisputed, that is of course if the fights can be made. Out of all the chasing pack he is the fighter with the best skill set, ring iq and style now let’s just see what the future brings . Kabayel, would take Dubois to school !

Agreed, Hrgovic cant rely on kabayel to gas in the later rounds. dont let his run of wins fool you. he fought an end of the road joyce, a couple of brtish level fighters & had to reply on an unexperienced 21 year old gassing out to win his last fight. he can take punches on the chin all night but doubt he can take kabayels body shots for 12 rounds. It will be his first fight against a top 10 guy since dubois and i dont favor hrgovic at all.

I dont think Gassiev has it in him to go 12 rounds with a top 5 heavyweight and i recall Gassiev giving kabayel his praises.

Dubois vs Kabayel is the fight to make.

Hrgovic doesn't rely on opponent's gassing out to beat them he usually knocks them out or punches the crap out of them. He's a high volume puncher. That was one fight where he was up against the worst style match up for him against a super talented fighter who not only had a big speed advantage but was heavier than him with razor sharp reflexes and reaction times

He actually gassed himself vs the current WBO champ and former IBF champ Dubois who is ranked #2 at HW after overexerting himself and dominating early but that gets conveniently ignored

What does he have to do to get some respect? He has 1 loss vs the #2 HW in the world which would be a win sans corruption and Dubois butting the crap out of him all night

A win over Moses on a deck heavily stacked against him who damn near everyone picked to knock him out, most within 3 or 4 rounds. He earned that victory the hard way and it was thoroughly deserved

A win over Big Bang and even though it was controversial was razor-close and the vast majority who had had him losing only had him losing by a single round whilst counting a bogus KD

And decent wins over Big Joe Joyce, Adeleye and Allen

And he was robbed in the Olympic semi-final vs Yoka. He clearly won that fight 2-1 at worst and had he not been robbed stood a good chance of winning gold against Big Joe Joyce

    100% a robbery

The key question is can Agit take the headbutts? That's where Hrgo came unstuck

Kabayel needs to fight someone. Not walk around posing with his emailed belt.

oh sorry I forgot he's already fought his quota of once a year.

Kabayel would destroy Hrgovic body. Even a weak puncher like Itauma was causing him all kind of body problems

Btw, congrats on the win - happy for you and Hrgovic. You were being pessimistic before the fight, but realistic at the same time. My main concern was the very high chance of a British early stoppage and Hrgovic's cut resistance.

What I would say is that Kabayel is a tricky stylistic match up as Kabayel's body work is so good, with Hrgovic's footwork being just about decent I would say, and its different being hit to the body than to the chin. Although, Hrgovic did take Itauma's body shots very very well.

Me too. It would have quieted the Kabayel fans in short order. Usyk is several levels better. Even at this late stage of his career.

Usyk was levels above Kabayel, though Kabayel's pressure would trouble even a prime Usyk, as he was given trouble by a post-Ruiz AJ in their second fight.

Now, if you're talking about the Usyk who won a gifted stoppage over a guy who fought "special" (and I'm not complimenting his great talent), I would say Usyk would have damn near no chance.

Agree. As an Usyk fan, I must amdit: If he was in the same exact shape against Kabayel, he would have lost the fight. Usyk looked awful vs Verhoeven

Easy to look like a killer body puncher vs heavy bags who just sit right in front of you. Has he fought anyone that can actually box and isn't garbage? Looks like a overrated can crusher to me and he is pretty small. Hrgovic will likely stop him.
