All the talk has been about this monstrous phenom, the second coming of Tyson.

But itauma is not a powerful puncher. He is freakishly fast and has great timing, but his power is nothing special.

It's that exceptional speed and throwing the kitchen sink early that has got him so many early Knockouts.

At the highest level, the likes of Dubois, Kabayel, now know the blue print. Weather the storm early and the fight is yours.

There was nothing wrong with comparing him to Tyson. Both very young, very talented HW fighters. It's natural. It's just Tyson fans are borderline homosexual for the way they detest comparing any young fighter to him.

Those punches he landed on Hrgovic would have knocked out 99% of current heavyweights. It's a massive credit to Hrgovic that he took them, weathered the storms and turned the fight around.

You assume they have Hrgovic level chin. Moses wiped out Dillian in one round.
I reckon he wipes Dubois out quickly too.

It's natural to compare, it's also natural to overhype. There were many questions that needed answering before that comparison shouldve been made. It's the promoters getting greedy.

Those punches would knock out a lot of people, but not all. Hrgovic himself said they weren't powerful, it was the speed that he couldn't deal with.

Dubois took hard punches of Wardley and got up of the canvas. I think he weathers an early moses onslaught and we see the same outcome.

Whyte is shot. And when he got ko'd by povetkin, fury, and in his earlier days against AJ, he was sparked out.

Against moses that wasn't the case. He went down and his legs were frazzled, but his mind was clear and he was talking to the ref to carry on. It was the speed that he couldn't handle. Props to moses for that speed, it is phenomenal for a HW. But the power itself, I'm not seeing it

He’s powerful enough, I still think he’d KO Dubois and most others as long as he doesn’t go stupid for a KO. doesn’t need to be Foreman level power.

He has the potential to have success with his skillset. Believe it or not there are still a lot of unanswered questions about him..
1.Was this just a bump in the road on his way to greatness (like louis Schmeling or Lewis McCall)?
    2. Did he just go too hard in the first 3 rounds or does he just have a terrible gas tank ?
    3. Does he have a plan B he can go to when the early KO isn't there which obviously wasn't going to happen against Hrgovic?
    4. Did this KO loss significantly hurt or damage his overall trajectory and development as a fighter ?

We learned a lot of things but the jury is still out...

He has pretty good power. Zhang could not KO Hrgovic. Neither could Dubois. One fight and now he has no power, zzz....

It's funny Dubois went to war with Wardley for the whole fight but got stopped by usyk fairly early on. I get that Dubois has a suspect chin and Usyk is highly skilled but I wonder how much confidence plays a role in his ability to take a punch or get off the canvas?? How confident would he be against Itauma?

It's because Dubois doesn't really quit if he has success. He can take punishment if he's landing. With Usyk he is getting hit and not hitting so he's discouraged.

I think Itauma's speed and accuracy would give Dubois nightmares, I think Itauma would KO him, I'm confident of it.
Outside of Hrgovic, the only fighters capable of taking him towards the championship waters and drowning him Hrgovic aside are Fury, Kabayel and Usyk. Everyone else I think he can get out of there inside 8 rounds.

I see it as replay of dubois wardley. moses will drop him early with his speed, but theyre flash knockdowns. dubois gets through it and once he starts landing his own punches, it'll only go one way.

I think for anyone that isn't Hrgovic or Usyk it will be more than enough to stop them.

A 240 pound pro boxer hitting that fast is gonna be a problem. Hrgovic just has an overly exceptional chin. I agree Whyte was sparked out in those other fights.

We'll when Moses continues how it develops, he is still so young and hasn't developed his true power yet. Usyk and Parker are notable heavies that worked on their power

Did this loss ruin him??? Getting taken out on a stretcher isn't a good sign. So Im not sure...

I mean If Ali gets stopped by Liston in their first fight does he still become the greatest? Its hard to tell how he will bounce back from this...
