After round 3 it was obvious that Itauma needed to slow it down. But Davison seemed to be watching the fight like a fan who was dazzled by the hand speed and eye catching big shots without considering anything else.

Davison throwing the towel after Foster already stopped the fight, he really can't help himself with that towel.

Foster kicked it away with utter contempt

    Positives and negatives.

+ Itauma outboxed Hrgovic for 8 rounds and looked very good.
+ It's a big lesson on stamina management and if he can rectify this, it's a lesson well worth learning.
+ The pressure is off him now, so they slow down his development and build.

    - If that gas tank cannot be fixed moving forward, he's in big trouble.
    - Psychologically this will be very difficult and could massively impact the rest of his career (Like David Price).
    - His power may not be as legit as we thought, Hrgovic chin was unreal but maybe things lie somewhere in the middle.

I do think he'll be a world champion moving forward but it's too early and they should definitely avoid the immediate rematch.

That was the most tired I've seen a fighter look in the ring since Matthew Macklin when he fought Jamie Moore.

I agree mostly but don't see it as devastating as Prices losses and Moses certainly showed he could take a few shots last night even when gassed.

Not sure if this has already been posted, but Eubank Jr's pretty much saying what most on here have said for years about Boxercise Ben – arguably the Jay Shetty of the boxing world.

Notice Frank quietly reminding that he took Hrgovic on the books and gave himself options as usual. The man's a legend.

If you look closely, you can see the horns starting to form beneath the hairline. Slowly morphing into the UK’s Don King.

Frank's old school. If it doesn't involve the heavy bag, chasing chickens around yards, or sparring 30 rounds, he doesn't want to know.

I imagine Frank thinks Boxercise Ben is some type of new age homosexual.

At 10:06, Moses asks "what round is this? Seven?" Ben Davison replies "yeah". It was the end of the 5th.

The advice of ‘do more by doing less’ was spot on.. just not when phrased that way to an exhausted, inexperienced fighter who was blowing out of his arse and gasping for air

Seemed to me like maybe Davison didn't realise how knackered Itauma was, who lets not forget, is pretty inexperienced himself. Perhaps he had seen Itauma like that in the gym but also seen him find a second wind and dig it out. Difference is in the gym, you haven't got Hrgovic teeing off on you in 10oz gloves, giving it everything he's got because he knows this is life changing.
