Moses Itauma vs. Filip Hrgović & Sam Noakes vs. Denys Berinchyk + Nelson Hysa vs. Thomas Narmo RBR.

Certainly isn't all young people. For a young well known fighter -- Jesse Rodriguez. He comes across as entirely normal, sane, down to earth in both short and long form interviews. For a lesser known -- Mohammed Alakel. I've heard a couple of interviews of him, dude is well spoken, entirely normal. Heck, I want to dislike Alakel but after seeing those interviews, I just can't, dude is like an absolute model of how you'd want a young fighter to act and speak in front of a mic.

 

That the slow as hell guy had the smarts and durability to goad Ituama into punching himself out. Filip isn't getting anywhere enough credit for this. This was literally the one way he could win and he pulled it off. He was even working it in the build-up, getting under Ituama's skin, ensuring that Ituama would be really, really wanting to knock him out.

 

I've got to say, Ituama leaving the ring on a stretcher was not the expected outcome.

 

I know. I agree. I was referencing the guy I quoted who was degrading Hrgovic. Even if tgat were true was he was saying, it makes Itauma look worse than he was.

 

no gas tank clearly dude needs to get a 10 round fight against someone like a miller or even huni

 

his utterly terrible taste in tattoos aside, listen to him speak. He’s sane, grounded, well spoken enough, self confident but not a braggart, respectful, etc. reminds me of 40s and 50s champs like that. He’s done podcasts.

would it be reasonable to say, after being embarassingly wrong, hrgovic isn't getting the credit he deserves???
