Was Hagler s loss To Leonard More About Marvin Declining,Or Ray's Tactics?

    what it really showed was his lack of intensity and interest in this late stage of his career. at one time, he was actually interested in fighting Ray while Ray was always hesitant, and very uninterested in fighting him. why do you suppose he suddenly took interest?

    Yes I don’t disagree, but Hagler started having success when he went to Southpaw and more likely than not could have won the fight if he started that way.
    There were several things going on in that fight

    Not watched for many years, but I remember watching the broadcast and thinking Leonard won it clear, boxed his ears off. Several month later I watched it with the sound off and thought Hagler won it clear!!
