Do you care where AJ & Fury fight?

Shame for the % of fans that have actually followed either of these fighters over the years if it's not in the UK.

If it did go ahead and was at Wembley in November it really wouldn't be a great fan experience even if it was a 10pm start (wont be).

Longer it drags on, more people will just think oh well......yes I'd watch it but if doesn't happen it's hardly a massive loss other than to a select few's bank balances.

 

It should be in the UK. I won’t be getting up at silly o clock and I can’t bare to watch a fight after it’s happened, cos I can’t not look at the news! So always know the result and not the same! Even though it’s well past its sell by date the British people deserve it to be here .

Joshua doesn't fancy the fight and he never did. Same as the Wilder fight.

 

The oracle of british boxing yet rinsed the public for years with dross PPVs, had 4 of AJs last 5 fights in saudi, and moved his residence to Monaco to avoid UK tax.

Joshua literally signed for the fight months ago.

 

I do think on the face of it it’s a uk based fight all day long but it’s so far past its time the location now seems like a fairly minor detail, I’m a Brit and I really could take it or leave it at this stage

 

It should but they're banging on like Joshua is some patriot. He was one of the first to go and fight in Saudi and has rarely fought in the UK since. Ruiz 2, Usyk 2, Wallin, Ngannou, Prenga etc all abroad.

 

Eddie Hearn could sell an education to John Fury. Hands down the best salesman in boxing and probably the best spin doctor in the game.

But to answer the question: yes, I still want to see Fury vs AJ.

I'll be watching it on Netflix and, because I don't live in the UK, it'll probably be on around the time I'm waking up anyway. So maybe it's unfair for me to say I don't care where they hold it... although, truthfully, I don't.

But seriously, how many people actually want to go and watch these two live at Wembley now? In November? Sitting in the cold, potentially getting soaked, then dealing with the nightmare of getting out of Wembley afterwards?

For British fans, I think the time is a bigger issue than the venue.

If they held it in Vegas or New York but somehow had it playing at a sociable hour in the UK, I honestly don't think there'd be anywhere near the same level of hysteria about it being outside Britain.

At this stage, just make the fight.

We're finally getting Fury vs AJ, it's included with Netflix rather than another £30 PPV, and you can guarantee Netflix will give it a huge, premium build-up.

Let them fight wherever makes the deal work. Just get them in the ring.

No because I’m not invested in either and I think it should have happened a long time ago. On the other hand, in a corrupt sport, one were fans are constantly shafted and seen as an afterthought I think it should be in Britain because it is where they’re from and all the fans have paid their way for a long time. In that way I do care a lot.

 

Stadium fights are **** when you're in the stadium, so I'll be watching it on TV anyway.
