His punch resistance usually suffers when he comes in light though

The only part that makes it interesting is the possibility of upset due to Ruiz's age and inactivity which would make it the second biggest upset of the division within a week.

I think Andy’s just there to get paid his inactivity will be against him tonight I think this is 3rd fight in 5 years and first fight in two years put that against a hungry knyba I can’t see it ending well

Not really. Ruiz has been a bit of a waste of time since 2019. Shame as I liked him.

If Ruiz looks great then will be an interesting 'new signing' to the HW division. His main attributes in his hand speed can give us some interesting HW match ups.

Ruiz (if hes still half decent) V Kabayel or Dubois would be great fights.

I'm looking forward to it. Just seen the face off. Knyba towers above him. I love a heavyweight fight when a much shorter opponent goes against someone much taller.
Both look in good shape. Hope Ruiz wins and wins in good fashion.

If Ruiz has anything left this shouldn't be a contest, should it? The big lad doesn't have massive power, light on experience, hasn't been in with anyone like Ruiz before Kabayel...? Andy wins this clean or he's toast...

Kabayel is willing to just run at the moving boxers, battering them. Andy is far more of a Zhang type -- artillery counterpuncher plodding after you and occasionally throwing combinations when the other party refuses to lead.

That being said, I have a soft spot for the pre-Turki top ten fighters like Ruiz or Parker. Rooting for Andy. I love a good comeback.
