Does Dan Hooker have something over Dana, he's in another main event. His last 2 fights he just crumbled and looked like a can. He should be on early prelims.
I agree. All he does is get stomped when he fights elite level fighters and against top 10-20 guys he wins some/loses some. I guess having an addiction to tattoo's, talking like a low iq idiot like he does gets you the casual dumb fanbase similar to how Nate Diaz is seen as some god. It's always been laughable to me.
Dan Hooker is popular and a company man; meaning he will fight anyone, on short notice, for (almost)any amount of money. So naturally, the UFC will use him to fill vacancies. I believe this is yet another short notice fight for Hooker, which means that the UFC is really struggling with their event scheduling. Their matchmaking has gone to the toilet, and they are struggling to properly fill the obligations they have taken upon themselves. Scheduling a card in France is insane when you don´t even have a headliner set for it. And now we get another Dan Hooker main event due to this.
Is anyone else a little disappointed at UFC 331? Tsarukyan was supposed to fight Oliveria but has now been changed to Tsarukyan vs Ruffy. I dunno, i feel like this card doesn't have a great main event.
Hooker´s career is coming to a close. This content is protected Its his third consecutive loss, all via stoppage, after winning 3 in a row. And before that win streak he had a 1-4 run, but the difference is that he is now 36 years old. It was a fun ride, but its coming to an end.
Hooker needs to retire. He has been a solid fighter and a credit to the sport for taking on tough challengers. But its time to move on and preserve his health.
